We booked this hotel for 7 consecutive nights and then we will go to another area and then return to the same hotel for one last night. We booked the opening package which includes 2 bottles of whiskey and since we are Muslims the whiskey was not replaced with anything else and they did not bring it to us at all. As for the room, the water tap had more than 10 cm of water stuck in it and it did not drain quickly which is disgusting. We talked to them about this problem but without a solution. When we call the reception, you might call 3 or 4 times without any answer. As for the bathroom, there is no toothbrush or body sponge like any other 5 star hotel. For 3 days, there was a disturbance from children on the upper floor who were playing ball since 7 am inside the room. We complained about this problem several times without a solution. There are also sounds of repair work. We asked them to leave our luggage with them until we go to the other area and return to them for the next night. They told us that we would take 10 euros for each bag, and this is unacceptable, especially since we booked with them for more than a week and that we would return to stay with them on the last night.

All five-star hotels provide 2 bottles of water daily, but this hotel only provided us with one bottle of water on the first day...

Experience was great. I was afraid I would have a not-so-pleasant stays based on other reviews, but it turned out to be great. The dependencies are modern and luxurious.

The lobby has a lot of space and features a welcoming bar/restaurant. I had a great time attending a few video conferences and working, and it was quiet for the most part.

Breakfast has a fair selection of breads and sweets, and everything was well made and fresh.

WiFi fit my use case well, consistently hitting 90mbps download and 70mbps upload. It should be enough for most use cases, and it was stable during the whole stay.

Location is excellent and central. The neighbourhood is walkable and close to the touristic areas of the city. Easy access to public transport.

A downside was the shower drain. The bathroom would flood, as the shower is not fully isolated and there's not enough slope for the water to flow. This is the only situation preventing me from better...

The check-in process was hectic and disorganized. The lobby was packed, and although they gave me one room and said the second would be ready after lunch, it wasn’t actually checked in when I came back. Even the luggage service mixed up our bags despite giving them the tag.

We had one king room and one twin — the king room was so small I couldn’t even open my suitcase, while the twin was much more spacious. Service was disappointing; I called three times just to get a spoon and no one ever brought it.

Breakfast was chaotic, the coffee was terrible, and the buffet offered very poor-quality food. Overall, this feels more like a tourist group hotel than a proper...

At the Madrid Princesa Hotel, I asked for a knife and an empty plate from room service, and they charged me five euros. I'm sure there are many regulations that would prevent a separate room service fee at a four-star hotel, but this is an incredibly disturbing situation I've encountered for the first time at the Marriott brand. Outsourcing room service and then trying to profit from it is a whole other level of capitalism. I don't want to see the day when we have to pay for the restroom service we use in our hotel rooms, since we're already paying for the room. Marriot is not a cheap air way company. Congratulations and many thanks to your genuines financial advisers.

The rooms at Madrid Marriott Hotel Princesa Plaza are really nice — big, spacious, and with very comfortable beds, which I appreciated a lot. However, I’m giving it 3 stars because the gym is quite limited. They focus mainly on cardio machines, and the maximum weight available is only 22 kg, so it’s not ideal if you want to do proper strength training. Also, the laundry service closes too early at 10:30 am, which is inconvenient for guests with busy schedules. Overall, it’s a comfortable hotel, but these details affected my experience.

We had a wonderful short stay at the Madrid Marriott hotel Princesa Plaza. Staff were attentive and helpful. The location is great too, walkable distances to almost everywhere you need to see in Madrid. As a platinum bonvoy member, I get access to the club lounge as well. It’s a very nice lounge I have to say and I have been to a lot of Marriott lounges around the world. They serve food throughout the day, and more food around breakfast, lunch and dinner.
