We recently stayed at this hotel for two nights and, while it has some charming aspects, the overall experience fell short — especially considering the price of over €300 per night. The hotel positions itself as a 5-star property, but in reality, several details let it down and it simply doesn’t meet that standard.||The classic room we stayed in had a very unusual layout. The bathroom area is semi open-plan, with only a glass door separating the shower and toilet. This setup might be manageable for couples, but if you’re staying with someone other than a partner, it’s awkward and lacking in privacy. The bed was made up of two singles pushed together, and the gap between them was noticeable and uncomfortable. There was no mattress topper provided either, which only made sleeping more difficult.||Noise was another significant issue. Our room faced the narrow street, and with what seemed like single-glazed windows, we could hear everything from outside. Worse still, the courtyard just beyond the entrance amplified sounds — doors slamming and voices echoed through at all hours, making restful sleep difficult. For a hotel in this price range, you’d expect better soundproofing.||We also encountered a series of smaller but frustrating issues. The TV remote didn’t work upon arrival, and we had to ask for a replacement. The minibar fridge was broken, which meant we couldn’t keep anything cool. While the staff did send up cold water and offered us a complimentary breakfast for one morning as an apology, it still felt like a letdown. Despite the menu stating 24-hour room service, when we asked the night manager about ordering, he mentioned the chef was about to leave. We managed to get a cheese board, but it didn’t feel like the full service promised. Additionally, there was no turndown service provided, which again is something you’d expect at this level.||On the more positive side, the reception staff were very friendly, and we were welcomed with a glass of cava on arrival, which was a nice touch. The rooftop bar was a real highlight of the stay — a beautiful space with a lovely atmosphere. The bartender was excellent and created a great experience. The drinks were pricey, but the view and vibe made it worth it. The complimentary 45-minute spa session was a welcome bonus and provided a nice moment of relaxation. Breakfast was also enjoyable, but to be honest, had we not received it for free, we probably wouldn’t have paid for it separately.||We enquired about room upgrade options but were told there weren’t any available, which was disappointing considering the issues we had during the stay. It’s clear that the hotel has potential — the reception and courtyard areas are beautifully designed, and the rooftop bar alone is worth visiting — but as a full package, it doesn’t deliver a true 5-star experience.||Overall, we left feeling underwhelmed. The hotel is undeniably stylish in parts and has a unique charm, but the comfort, service, and attention to detail simply don’t justify the high price. We were fortunate to only be staying two nights; if we’d booked for a full week, we wouldn’t have stayed. Unfortunately, we would not...
Read moreTrue to Mallorca style architecture this hotel is in a great location with well appointed rooms and friendly service. Unfortunately housekeeping was not up to the standards of a five star hotel. When I was sleeping one night, I decided to take the throw blanket off the bed and to my dismay found blood stains on the duvet sheets. The next morning I informed reception and they had housekeeping change the sheets immediately. For my troubles, reception did offer cocktails/snacks at the bar which was odd for the severity of the situation. It wasn’t until I provided written feedback to management that I was offered an upgraded room the night before I was leaving; again the hotel did not take the situation seriously as finding blood on one’s bedsheets is a biohazard; not to mention very disturbing. I had asked for one night’s accommodation to be compensated but management refused because it was difficult to provide a refund since I already paid through Expedia. That is really a poor excuse from the management team and therefore I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not return. The team did not take ownership of the situation and fell short to provide a standard that is expected to be high at these prices.
It was the next day that I informed reception and not days later. Your reply to suggest that the blood stains on my bedsheets were mine just demonstrates how unprofessional you are and that you need to be accountable for the conditions of the room. You should be fired for the way you handle the...

From the moment we were greeted, we felt incredibly welcomed and special. To our surprise, the hotel generously upgraded us to a suite, which truly made our stay unforgettable.
