Read moreOn the 18th of January I bought a pair of AirPods Pro online. After a week or so of using the AirPods the left bud started emitting a pulsing sound as well as a weird windy sound to the extent that it became uncomfortable and that I would stop using them when they did this - the defect was intermittent and seemingly would happen after I had been listening through the AirPods for a long period of time.
On the 3rd of February I went to the store and let them know what I was experiencing. And asked them for an exchange the lady then looked at the case claimed that it had scratches and that I would not be able to get an exchange and while saying this they themselves were handling the case carelessly in front of me. I insisted that the left bud was faulty and that I was not happy with my purchase and reiterated my experience with them. She then tried them for about 15min and said that she could hear anything wrong with them. Fast forward to the end result they took the EarPods and claimed that they would send them to the mainland and that it would take 20days. This is an outright LIE! “Find my” has indicated that the EarPods have been in Mallorca for the past two weeks with only one thing happening and that’s that the AirPods had been taken out the case a few days after I had left them there.
Yesterday, I went to the store to enquire on the progress and I was met with the most frustrating and rude service you can ever imagine. The lack of consideration or helpfulness is appalling. At first I got told that I can’t speak to an English speaking assistance and got asked if spoke Spanish to which I then responded by videoing the lady and then only did she get on the phone and called someone to who spoke English to assist. Then when the man arrived he remembered me from the last time and his first thing was that it had not been 20days and that I can come back in the 3rd of March to collect my AirPods, to which I asked where they where? He said Madrid and I called him out on it and said no they aren’t and showed him on the map that they were indeed still in Mallorca.
The end result of my experience is that the AirPods at this point have spent more time at carrefour and I spent money on a faulty product, they are still in Mallorca stashed away somewhere and will probably be given back to me with the same issue because it is clear that there is no technician and they never went anywhere.
An absolute zero for customer service and relations. I personally will not be buying anything from carrefour again and will definitely discourage anyone within my immediate circle from purchasing...
Read moreI wish to file an official complaint regarding my experience with the purchase and repair of my Philips TV, which I bought in July 2024. This TV has never been usable, and I delivered it for repair on September 28.
When I went to collect the TV today, October 10, I encountered an extremely unpleasant situation. The employees provided shockingly poor customer service, completely ignoring me for almost an hour. They acted as if I were invisible, not even glancing my way. They didn’t speak to me; instead, they looked at each other as if deciding when they felt like helping me. They prioritized other customers despite me being first in line and having already received some assistance from a man who left without resolving anything.
My TV is still at Porto Pi because the staff was either unable or unwilling to help secure the screen in any way. Is this truly acceptable? Why would I even consider buying a new TV for nearly 600 euros if my original TV was functional? I have been without a TV for over four months, in addition to the time Carrefour was supposed to send it in for repairs. How can I trust that this is even the same TV? The one I handed in didn’t work.
Now, I’m left with two TVs: one that I don’t want back at all after this horrible experience, and another Samsung TV I bought from Carrefour that works perfectly and connected immediately.
I feel deceived and extremely disappointed by how I have been treated. I urge Carrefour to address this situation and clarify whether this is the standard of customer service across Carrefour internationally or if it’s specific to the Porto Pi location.
