Cafetería Bar Alhambra Bodega Mirador — Restaurant in Seville

We wanted to have a spanish dinner here and got just a small card with 5 or 6 dishes, so no tapas like in other refiews. Then we ordered 2x chicken cordon bleu with french fries, bacon and eggs. The waiter served us 2 half-raw chicken cordon bleu with salad garnish and without any explanations. After we asked they told us first in spanish and after communication problems with the help of our google translater that they had problems in the kitchen and offered us to re-do our dishes. After a while they came out and informed us, that they still have problems and offered us a salad. After we declined we agreed on paying the bill of the drinks and had to pay 8.50 for 1 beer and 1 large water.

It is maybe a nice bar for locals to have a chat and some beers with friends but it is nothing for tourists who don't speak proper spanish, as the waiters don't speak any...

La atención pésima, fuimos a desayunar, es un bar pequeño con unas cuantas mesas fuera. Decidimos sentarnos dentro, había una mesa con seis personas que ya estaban desayunando y nadie más, vino el camarero con prisas y se molestó porque tardamos un segundo en dedicidir lo que íbamos a pedir, cuando le preguntamos qué había para desayunar nos contestó solo con un gesto que tuvimos que interpretar nosotras (debía de costarle mucho trabajo hablar) el gesto lo tradujimos como: "pues qué va a haber, parecéis tontas" Pedimos café con leche y tostadas, también debía de ser muy molesto para el camarero preguntar qué queríamos con las tostadas, y qué pan queríamos porque cuando le pregunté qué tipo de pan tenían se volvió a repetir el gestito anterior, aunque esta vez sí que dijo algo de lo que solo entendimos que una de las opciones era viena, así que pedimos vienas con aceite y tomate porque no nos atrevimos a preguntar nada más, no fuera a ser que nos volviera a hacer el mismo gesto, lo que habría provocado un momento más desagradable aún porque ya no podría soportar más tanta mala educación. Para terminar con la experiencia las tostadas salieron con el aceite y el tomate ya puesto, cosa no deseable (a mí personalmente me gusta untar el tomate a mi gusto, pero en fin... corramos un tupido velo sobre este pequeño detalle) cuando el café ya se había enfriado. El café estaba bueno, el pan también y el precio bien también, 5,40 euros 2 cafés con leche...

Place with some nice neighbourhood vibe even though it’s close to a big road (which currently – March ’23 is closed due to the fact of some reconstructions so when I was there there was quiet). Good localisation, close to the train station. Good to come over when u have some time to a train or by the way. Beer could be slightly cheaper but well, it’s a bigger city, in a turistic area, so in some way understandable. Furthermore I got some olives an a tapa extra. Nice and...
