The Only You Hotel is a super deluxe property. We would return to this hotel in a heartbeat and will recommend it to all of our family and friends. From the moment we arrived when our bags were whisked away from us and we were offered a glass of cava, we knew that this was going to be a wonderful place to stay. The lobby area and bar are the first things one sees when one steps into the gorgeous hotel and this space has the impact it was designed to have. It’s stunning. You will definitely want to have a drink and park yourself here to take it all in and people watch. All the other spaces, including the rooms are beautifully designed and appointed. The staff we interacted with were friendly, accommodating and not just helpful, they were eager to help us. The front desk staff helped us plan our visit and provided us with recommendations given the length of our stay in Valencia. The map they provide is key. As for the rooms, well, they have thought about everything. We stayed in a single room with a double bed and it was spacious. Everything in the room from the beautiful flooring, the crisp white paint and moldings and decor made our room feel special and retreat-like. The bed was luxurious as were the linens. Some extras include 2 bottles of water, 2 Nespresso pods (yes, our room had a small machine), cream and tea, all complimentary each day. House keeping services were superb and when we returned to our room late each afternoon, it looked pristine as if we had just arrived. Over the top extras: umbrella, 2 pairs of slippers and robes, shopping bag and a sleepless kit complete with roibose tea, color pencils and a cool graphic on card stock to color. There is a small gym with machines, free weights and mats, along with snacks like apples, protein bars and cool water. The the lobby also has a cart with sweets for you on your way in and out of the hotel. As for location, the Only You is perfectly situated, half a block from the epicenter of the historic old town and the Plaza de Ajuntamento. Step outside the hotel and there are two restaurants with outdoor spaces and a beautiful fountain. Perfect place for an afternoon cafe cortado, cava and more. There were some musicians that stopped by each afternoon, which was great. The cafe immediately in front of the hotel has great coffee and pastries and it is very reasonably priced. The hotel has a list of restaurants by food type that they recommend. We found all of the options to be very expensive. Having some healthy, green, vegetarian and quick bite options would be helpful to guests that may want to spend or eat less. In sum, the Only You Hotel is a luxurious hotel with impecable service with reasonably priced rooms. We will be back. Way to go, Hotel Only You staff!! ...
Read moreBefore I give feedback on the hotel, the most important advice I can give is to check to see if there any Anti-Tourist Protests happening! On the Saturday of our stay there was a huge protest and it was really intimidating and uncomfortable to be out and about. These protests are planned and whilst I appreciate the hotel saying "they have no control over them", I do feel they should have informed us, at check in. Google it before you book a Spanish City break!|Hotel. Ok not wowed. No personal welcome on arrival so headed to the central bar area to check in. One side is a bar, the other is reception. Nice reception area, clean and modern. We were offered water or a lemonade on arrival, and pointed in the direction to the lift and where to find out room. No real "personal" treatment which is a shame for a 5. Room ok for a city hotel, bathroom ok and all clean.|Location excellent for exploring the Old Town and I would definitely recommend a walk/cycle/escooter trip through the park to the beach. The beach is vast with plenty of space and places to eat/drink. Note, there is a Plaza directly outside the hotel which was very lively at 3:50am. Personally we didn't mind the noise as you expect it in a city break but consider how much noise you expect before you book. |Negatives. The hotel is used for events, which is fine, we've stayed in other 5 like this. However, we booked dinner in the hotel restaurant, "a real must" according to reception. Big mistake. There was a private function in the room adjoining the restaurant which was so loud and really poor karaoke singing of Elvis. We could not hear the waitress and the disco lights were awful. Apart from two others, we were the only ones in the restaurant but had to leave as we could not hear each other over the awful singing. There was also a disco on the lower floor. Now for some of you that went night clubbing in the younger days will remember the dingy dark room. Well this was the same. Not at all what I expected from a 5* hotel. |There are some beautiful hotels in the city, so do your research. We would not stay here again as we've stayed in alot better for...
Read moreWe had a fantastic experience at Only YOU Hotel in Valencia. From the moment I arrived, the service was top-notch — friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. We stayed 5 nights.
The hotel is located in the old town of Valencia and perfectly walkable to many of the local attractions, bars, and high end restaurants.
The hotel throughout is beautifully designed and modern, with great air conditioning in the lobby and bar area that made it a welcome retreat from the high temperatures. Anna at reception was very welcoming on check in and helpful throughout our stay with some recommendations, along with the concierge team.
There is a cocktail bar in the lobby which serves delicious cocktails and some local beers. Alejandro and the team at are friendly and polite.
The room we had was spacious, again with efficient air con and a lovely view over the rooftops on the 7th floor. The bathroom is modern and there is a large shower with great pressure. The bed is comfortable and there were plenty of sockets and wardrobe space.
The breakfast was fantastic and is on the top floor of the hotel with a great view over the rooftops surrounding. There is a great variety of fresh, high-quality options, sweet, savoury and local that made every morning a treat. Eggs and coffee are definitely a highlight.
There were also some specials such as juices and sushi which varied throughout the mornings of our stay. There was an electric violinist playing some popular songs also wandering throughout the restaurant on our last morning which was more fun and enjoyable than I would have expected.
There are some tasty dinner options also at the rooftop restaurant including some authentic Valencian rice dishes.
We had a slight delay in receiving the eggs one morning and I mentioned this to the manager who apologised and went out of his way to drop a bottle of cava to our room with a note wishing us great rest of our stay. Shoutout to Jose Enrique, Arianna and the guest experience team!
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It strikes a perfect balance between style, comfort, and outstanding...
