Citizentral Juristas — Hotel in Valencia

We were very impressed when we arrived at the apartment. The apartment was very clean and spacious. The location was excellent. My son loved having his own room and space. We ate out at the square for breakfast which was a few minutes walk away would highly recommend the cafes on the square.||We never had anyone come and make up our room whilst we stayed not sure if they should have or not but it wasn't a problem for us.||Unfortunately on checking out we left my sons Samsung headphones outside the safe in the wardrobe, we didn't realise until we were eating breakfast, so a quick trip back to the apartments and very helpful reception staff took us back to the apartment but the room had already been cleaned by the cleaners and no headphones in sight. They asked the cleaners if they had found them and they said no. We know exactly where we left them so someone had definitely taken them. The reception staff were very helpful and even took me down to shake out where the old sheets were just to see if they had been left on the bed. We are 100% sure they were left near the safe.||It was a sad end to an excellent stay at this property as someone was being dishonest, and it ruined our last few hours in Valencia. It was our fault as we left them in the room but you would have thought someone would have had the decency to own up to taking them when cleaning the room.||Apart from that I would recommend this accommodation as it is very clean great location. AMAZING PLACE, EVEN BETTER STAFF, SPOT ON! Besides the location being absolutely ideal to enjoy the Valencian lifestyle of good restaurants , bars and wonderful architecture at the heart of the old town, the appartment we stayed in was of the highest standard of confort and the cleaningness irreprochable! Stylish and tasteful at the same time with all the amenities one might want (induction cooker, quality knives, pans, etc, "rainforest" shower head, large plasma tv, air con in every room, laundry facility etc). A delight to stay in. But what really made it for us was the outstanding commitment of the ladies at reception. One receptionist didn't hesitate to make some calls (from my phone, not the company one)in spanish on my behalf to organise the next leg of our trip. It was very appreciated. Thank you. I would like to mention Ivana in particular, who went way beyond the call of duty! We mentioned we might relocate in Spain permanently and Ivana took the time to give me advice on what to watch out for, the dos and don'ts (apparently buying flowers as a thank you is not customary in Spain😁), and a myriad of contacts and references to get us started. We had a wonderful time in Valencia and a huge part of that was Citizentral Juristas. Communication from start to finish was wonderful. We only stayed one night but the overall service was exceptional. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Our apartment was walkable to the city center and the restaurants and bars close to the apartment were great. We enjoyed our meals, drinks and the people in the area.

We chose to rent a car to drive into Valencia. If you are not familiar with the area or driving internationally, I would not recommend this. Despite the directions that they sent in advance, it was difficult to navigate; however it was mostly because we were unfamiliar with the city and not used to side streets which are also walking paths. We were extremely lost (almost an hour) and Vito went over and beyond trying to help guide and find us. He is our MVP and his kindness and commitment to guests did not go unnoticed. The garage was convenient but it was very small so again, if you are not used to it, it can be challenging. I would recommend a taxi over renting a car if you are coming from the USA.

Despite our transportation issues, I would recommend this site to everyone. We are looking forward to our next trip and staying here for a longer time. Vito and his team are exceptional. Thank you for making our...
