Small and cozy restaurant serving up incredible food and friendly service. We arrived right when it opened, with our reservation, and the place filled up in 10 minutes. I highly recommend making a reservation and I kept seeing people showing up and being told there was no availability even though there were seats. It seems that they prefer to only have the first round of diners and focus on that for the rest of the evening. I also believe the kitchen is small and if there are a lot of paella orders, they slow down service tremendously. We ordered 4 things and our first 2 dishes arrived promptly but then we had a 45min wait for our Tuna sashimi order. They made up by bringing our 4th dish right after. We ordered:
-Goat Cheese salad -Red tuna in teriyaki with guacamole -Flame octopus with roasted potatoes -Grilled Sea Bass with vegetables -Creme brûlée -Pannacotta
Everything was well cooked and the fish dishes just melted in your mouth. The wine and red wines by the glass were excellent too. We will certainly reserve this place again next time we are back...
Read moreWaitress Claudia got our order wrong - we were a party of 4 people, and we ordered 2 paellas, as it clearly says on the menu that one paella is meant for 2 people. Instead, after waiting for 10 minutes we were told that our order will take 1 hour, and another 10 minutes in they brought only one heat mat - that’s when we suspected that something was wrong and decided to double check if we are getting 2 paellas that we ordered. Waitress didn’t apologize, she corrected the order but didn’t make sure it is prioritized. Therefore, one paella arrived, and second one was taking another 30 minutes. We asked if there is anything they can do, as it was their mistake because we ordered 2 paellas to begin with. At the end, nothing has been done, we had to cancel the order and leave, with only 2 people who had food and the other two left hungry. They apologized at the end as it was clear for everyone that the fault was on them, but the evening was absolutely ruined. The worst...
Read moreThe restaurants has a very small outside seating area that isn't that great. From when we got seated our waiter was rude and didn't seem to like it when we asked questions about the menu (the menu is in Spanish and we only speak English). The waiter continued being rude until I had it and asked him if there was a problem. He answered "It is my last day, I don't give a F*". I was ready to leave at this point, but I was with a group of people who were just tired from walking all day and wanted to have a meal.
We had the Shrimp croquettes for appetizers which were bad in my opinion. However, we also had some sort of tune rolls for appetizers and those were pretty tasty. For our main course we had the seafood paella. It came smothered with a sauce on top which was very salty and heavy on the stomach. It wasn't like most paelllas I've had in the past. It wasn't bad, but wasn't great either.
I wouldn't go to this...
