This place has been highly recommended. We walked in and a scowling waitress pointed us to a small table by the door. She walked away. The table clearly had bread crumbs on it. It hadn't been cleaned or disinfected between guests, as every table and chair must be now during the pandemic. She argued with me that those bread crumbs must've flown in through the window. There's no other restaurant across the way for the bread crumbs to magically fly in from. I told her I didn't like her attitude. She sullenly walked away, talked about us to the manager, then came back with disinfectant spray. We ordered Eggs Benedict with spinach and another with avocado. 2 coffees with soy milk from the manager. He came back a few minutes later to double check that we ordered salmon and bacon. Um. No, we didn't. The coffees came. With 2 dirty spoons. No sugar. Had to get up and go ask for some. The eggs came. For 9.90 you get nothing extra. No side salad. No potatoes. The muffin wasn't toasted. See pics. I asked about salt and pepper, Tabasco sauce. He said they were already seasoned. Nope. They weren't. The eggs were passable. Slightly overcooked. The spinach was burned (!). Our total bill was 25,80 Euros. Check out the pics for the amount of food we got. This is a really low attempt at a Los Angeles type cafe. I guess by Valencia standards, it's cool? Honestly, I enjoy my local cafe (where I get a good coffee and a decent ham and cheese sandwich on fresh bread for 3,10)much more than this place. Of course, I'm not coming back here. You can be sure of that. I'm giving it 2 stars for the music. And it's large enough to provide space between guests. 2 stars. You've been warned.

Hands down, this is a must have place to have breakfasts and brunches 😍😻 It is located in the heart of Valencia. It’s easy yo get here. Their menu is absolutely amazing with a unique touch. If you have ever thought you found your best pancakes 🥞 then come here. You will fall in love with these ones. Their juices 🧃is another level of yumminess. They taste like health 😻 Everything is clean, hygiene. The guys working here are so so friendly. The prices are good comparing to the other places. Pancakes cost €7.8 for a huge portion and €2 for a coffee. Moreover, if you need to work a bit on your laptop you can do it here. Everything is organized the way it is easy to do and you are even welcomed. Sometimes I see people having business meetings here 😃 It is also suitable for taking Instagramable photos ^^ whatever you prefer. We highly recommend this place ❤️ If you like this review, let us hear from you! We’d love if you visit our profile in Instagram to see experiences all over the world! Have an amazing day! Disappointing Dining Experience at Federal in Valencia 😞

I recently visited Federal in Valencia, hoping for a delightful culinary experience, but unfortunately, my overall impression was far from satisfactory. 😔

From the moment I entered, the service was painfully slow. It felt like an eternity before anyone took our orders, and the wait staff seemed disorganized and inattentive throughout our entire meal. 🕰️🤷‍♂️

The menu featured a Reuben sandwich that caught my eye, but to my dismay, it was served with Gruyère cheese instead of the traditional ingredients. As a fan of classic Reuben sandwiches, this unexpected twist left me disappointed and questioning the authenticity of the dishes. 🥪❌🧀

Moreover, the lack of attention to cleanliness was evident. The staff failed to clear dirty plates promptly, giving an unkempt and unhygienic feel to the dining area. It's disheartening when a restaurant neglects such a basic aspect of the dining experience. 🍽️❌😕

To make matters worse, the restroom facilities were far from sanitary. Cleanliness is paramount, especially in a restaurant setting, and the state of the toilets left much to be desired. 🚽❌😬

In conclusion, my visit was a regrettable experience. The slow service, misguided culinary choices, and lack of attention to cleanliness were major drawbacks that overshadowed any positive aspects. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously to improve the overall dining experience for future...

I'm an American and came here solo to get some work done. I brought in a coffee from another shop—something I genuinely didn’t realize was frowned upon here. No one mentioned it when I arrived, but it took over 20 minutes for anyone to take my order. I know slower service isn’t unusual in Europe, so I didn’t think much of it at first.

However, one staff member—specifically a woman with many tattoos—repeatedly gave me unpleasant looks, rolling her eyes and seeming visibly annoyed. I was confused, as no one had yet addressed the issue with the coffee. It wasn’t until 30 minutes after I sat down that a very kind male staff member politely informed me about their policy. I apologized immediately and threw the coffee away.

It also took over 30 minutes for my food (eggs benedict and chia pudding) to arrive, and oddly enough, a guest who came in at least 15 minutes after me—ordering the exact same dish—was served before me. That definitely added to the frustration.

Additionally, even though there were small tables available, I was seated at a shared group table with strangers, which made it harder to relax and focus. I’m not sure if that was due to being alone, but it made the experience less enjoyable.

That said, the food and atmosphere were otherwise pleasant, and I appreciated the respectful attitude of the male staff member. Unfortunately, the overall service left a lot to be desired. the girl can eat a wet sock...
