Plaza Home — Hotel in Valencia

People love to complain, but it’s very simple if you’re paying €50 for a night don’t cry about it not being a 4-star hotel. Overall it was OK, I’ve had worse for double the prices in other cities.

Location is good, room is clean, bed is ok and the bathroom is alright. Although the door almost fell out because it soaked up so much water. AC is cold during the day and turned off at night lol.

One thing you should know: this was never made to be a hotel, it used to be a office I guess. All the noise complaints here lead to one thing: they kept the office ceiling and just placed some plaster walls. None of the walls actually connect to the ceiling, so you’ll also see when the lights are on next door. The reason why you hear EVERYTHING is because the ceiling is one big hollow box which connects every room. The ventilation in our bathroom almost caused a new earthquake. I also LOVED the design of the sink, so convenient!!

Anyways all of this said, I hope neighbours enjoyed it when my girlfriend was...

The room did not match the description! City view was an internal wall and cigarette waste. Advertised room description (pictures and text descriptions) did not match at all.

Cigarette smoke in the bathroom when we arrived and in the night the air ventilation sent smoke into our room.

Very small bathroom and unreasonably expensive for what we got in the end (nit what was advertised).

Worst night in Valencia!

Staff was nice and they communicated but no correction of the room situation was even considered.

They did let us check-in a bit earlier (was 3PM, promised 1PM and we got in at 2PM).

We are thankful it was only 1 night, never again

Also, broken electrical outlet, walls are thin and not finished, you can hear everything and even see light from other rooms...

AVOID at all costs! Probably the worst experience I've had with accommodation. Didn't receive any information on my check-in so called a number of times in the morning but there was no response to my calls or message till later. Then, after following instructions to check into the room, I was greeted with a room that was filthy and clearly not prepared for my stay (See photos). Called the accommodation multiple times but they didn't pick up or respond to my messages till an hour later. I had no choice but to find another accommodation as I had no idea when, and if they would get back to me. When I requested a refund, they offered a paltry €18, which was offensive after what I went through. The poor reviews you see by others are...
