Hotel City Light Bambalapitiya — Hotel in Colombo

The photos do not do justice to show how bad this place is! No toilet paper, the tap rotated when I tried to turn it on and I locked myself in the room as the lock was broken. I was offered another room but the damage was done! The boy behind the desk tried to tell me the tap was OK if you hold it still (not the point!) and tried to tell me the dirty floor was just the way the tiles are but it's nothing a bit of bleach and a good scrub couldn't sort out.||He also told me it was a good room for the price and as it was described as a budget room, I wasn't expecting luxury but I at least expected it to be clean!||My 'stay' lasted all of 10 minutes and 5 of that was trying to get out...

Room perhaps I exaggerate, stable appropriate name, bathroom devoid of toilet paper, any kind of soap, ants, geckos, bed without sheets and pergiunta dirty and smelly cover, no phone, no restaurant, we paid for 2 days but in the wake of the first morning day we escaped, not by booking facility, also the cost that abiamo paid more than expected and luckily I keep the receipt. ah also there is hot water in the bathroom absolutely...

The rooms are not clean enough and bathrooms are worse. No hot water nad not cleaned properly. Room cannot be locked properly and have very limited parking space.

So, it is better to check about the availability of parking before booking.

Very low budget hotel and cN be a last options if you cannot find anything, which...
