We stayed in Room 206, one of two smaller rooms for couples, but with hot spring bathtub inside the room. We were a little disappointed though, as our booking on a third party website showed us the picture of another bigger room even though our booking was for Room 206. There were actually a few room sizes with accompanying facilities. Hence, suggestion to check out directly from the hotel website, the various room types before confirming any booking. ||||Anyway, the hotel itself was comfortable and the staff made effort to attend to our needs and requests, such as our request for travel adaptor and extra pillows. The breakfast was also local Taiwanese style. There was also a small, private pond within the first floor, for hotel guests to soak their feet in while small schools of fish nibble away at the dead skin on the feet. ||||The water in the rooms are all hot spring water, but it may not be hot all the time. Drinking water is obtainable from the eating area on the first floor via a water dispenser. A word of caution: there can be mosquitoes on the eating area in the early morning or late afternoon.||||Getting to the hotel for the first time may not be that easy as there are several small roads to negotiate and you could get lost easily. Hence, a suggestion to take a cab from either the Jiaoxi bus station (costing around NT 120) or the train station. Subsequently, you could ask the hotel receptionist for directions to the city centre, and the latter is reachable with a short walk of about 10min.||||All said, this is a small hotel and located away from the main town area. Recommended for those ones with a preference for a quiet location (away from busy roads and human traffic) and one next...
Read moreThis is one of the most horrible experiences I've ever encountered. The room was so humid it's moist the bed sheets actually felt wet, the bed itself is very uncomfortable and felt like they had very old springs the corners of the room had chips and cement pieces like its unfinished and the hot spring/tub is very dirty and grungy. The fact the hotel didn't give us any refund after we've voiced our concerns is beside the point even though we stayed for less than an hour in that room. BEWARE OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT, YOU HAVE...
Read moreIt's a rather run down place with poor sound proofing and poor WiFi connection (in fact we had none and they made us aware of the poor connection in our part of the hotel). They have a lounge with massage chairs and a fish spa but neither of them looked very well maintained. No lift to our rooms so we had to carry our 15kg suitcases up two flights of stairs. Staff were friendly, breakfast was pretty average. No privacy toilets / bathrooms in your room. Head rest on the head board is...
