Reserved this hotel through their website www.vipspa.com.tw||||Pros:||1. Beautiful, Japanese-style deco in a quieter area of Jiaosi, but only 15 min walk to the Jiaosi train station.||2. Fantastic service staff, who advises well on the local area, and are friendly and helpful. We requested extra hangers and receive them within 5 min. They also went the extra mile, e.g., walk us to the bicycle renting facility (free to hotel guests).||3. Has both public hotspring facilities (charges apply for non-hotel guests) and private hotspring rooms.||4. Has good food on restaurant on the 4th storey. We had steamboat (shabu shabu) dinner. Breakfast (free with room stay) is great with many variety of Taiwanese foods, and also some simple western ham, cakes, etc.||5. Good room facilities with free wired internet access (bring your own laptop - cable provided), and large screen LCD TV. We took a 4-bed tatami-styled room, which was comfortable and clean.||||Cons:||1. Hot water in room was not working, despite our request for repair. Not a bog problem - we took our showers in the hot spring facilities before our hot-spring soak.||2. There was no shower curtain in bathroom, so bathroom tends to get wet easily.||||I recommend this place for its good hot spring, friendly and helpful staff, great facilities and fairly accessible location. Good for families and...
