日野苑 Hinoen hotel — Hotel in Taipei

Service: Front desk were very nice, always gave a friendly greeting and helped me with changing rooms due to making multiple bookings. 24 hour desk meant I could check in even with my late flight! Liked that coffee and laundry room was included. Daily housekeeping was a plus.

Bathroom: The amenities were great and they continue to replenish everyday. Hair dryer was surprisingly good I didn't need to even use my own. They offer combs, slippers, and shower caps downstairs. The tub was big but was hard to get the drain stopper out when I plugged it in. There was a lot of counter and storage so it didn't feel cramped. The bidet was also a plus.

Bedroom: TV had lots of stations although wish Netflix worked. The bed was so comfy and they gave us a throw blanket when we asked for a second one. There was lots of room for luggage and liked having the little bar station for food and fridge, and the little desk and chair were nice touches. Overall had a cozy, modern, new look to the room with the uplighting behind the bed and soft light on the ceiling.

Would highly recommend staying here for the friendly service, access to a bunch of food and shopping, access to metro, and the high quality rooms. Deserves a higher rating than what it has. I had no issues with noise even on a...

We booked 3 rooms for 5 days in Dec'23. I had stayed in my 2 pax room(extension) for 9 days and I would comment that the housekeeping staff did not live up to their cleanliness and service. Toilet area not cleaned properly after few days. I found lacking the following: Bath tub found hairs not cleaned for the last 3 days. Bathing area are mushy with I think algae growing became slippery. This confirmed not cleaned at all during my 9 days stay. Bedsheets and pillow cases are not changed until only we requested them to change. Toilet seat underside not cleaned with stains. Could have been left there if I had not feedback to counter-staff.

My sister had changed from a 3 pax to a 2pax room after the 5th day for extension. They found the following problem: 1st day of checking in, stench of urine smell coming from toilet seat area. 2nd night while we came back at night while bathing, the bathing area got choked with water overflowing. We asked the counter staff and cleared the choked. The drainage area had not been cleaned I think for quite a while full of hair and rubbish.

Very central location. Close to eateries, MRT/airport station, bus station, convenient stores, and shopping malls.

Provides expresso machine (front desk) , free laundry room (washer x2 and dryerx2) , microwave, and water dispenser in the room behind the front desk. A free coupon for milk tea with boba or lemon tea is provided at check in. To use at the drink shop next door called Day Day Drink.

I booked a single room and was given a room on the 6th floor with window facing the busy street. Size is comfy and spacious enough for 1 person. Bed is full size and extra firm. I had no issues with sleeping, barely any noise from the window. However, sound proofing between rooms is poor. I could hear neighbor coughing all night long and when water is running from shower. Overall, room is very clean and modern just like the pictures.
