Easymind Guesthouse — Hotel in Taipei

No sign - almost impossible to find - & the owner/manager on duty couldn't give me directions from the downtown central station!! They are on the 12th floor of a very small building & may have a sign in Chinese - IDK, but I spent 45 mins walking back & forth in the area with heavy bags til another guest house kindly gave me proper directions which included the building #!! One of the WORST Experiences of my Life!! Other than that - it was a very nice, clean & cheap dorm house - not a guest house. Compact and Cozy hostel, very friendly and helpful staff (Kim) willing to go above and beyond duties, giving local tips and attractions as well taking me to a traditional market and show me local hidden gems, such as an nearby vintage printing factory, nearby tea/ wine cafe and temple visits. Excellent location less than 10 mins. Walk to Taipei main station. The staff are the highlight and really standout above all else and left a positive impression for me, some of the most warm, hospitable staff I have met in Taiwan.

Great place to stay super location, awesome employees always ready to help you out if you need it, atmosphere is more cozy which is what I was looking for in the first place so perfect. Facilities are cleaned everyday in the morning to make sure you feel comfortable and I did. Hostel provides slippers for you to wear inside and even umbrellas in case you need it.
