Me and my wife stayed here and we loved it. Located in a very good part of the city to get around and the room was pretty great too. The best part would have to be the staff hands down. The literally did anything to be great host. We went into the elevator thinking to just go to our room after checking but one of the attendants that was working was actually trying to show us to our room. She ran up six flights of stairs just to make sure she was able to show us where are room was and how everything in the room worked. Anytime we had a question about transportation or best and cheapest ways to get around we could talk to the staff in either Japanese or English. Read moreAmazing boutique hotel. Exterior is kinda dated compared to more modern designs but the rooms are nice and elegant in a tasteful Japanese style. Makes sense since most of the clientele seems to be Japanese. Where this hotel really shines is the amazing staff, especially the Assistant Manager Erick Hsu. The man is ceaselessly energetic (literally here from 6am till 10pm - wish I had his work ethic), a polyglot (Mandarin, Japanese, English, and local dialects), and extremely gracious and friendly. He remembered little details of our conversations and showed the type of foresight only an experienced hospitality specialist would have. Great experience, affordably priced, and conveniently located (less than 10 mins to Zhongshan MRT and surrounded by amazing food options). Decent brekkie spread and has a gym to help you burn the cals off :) 10/10...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel in Nov 2023. On checking in, the reception Mr Wang was very helpful and friendly. He also kindly recommended places to go and provided Taipei maps. His recommendations were very useful.
The spread for breakfast was generous and was prepared by Madam Momo. She was also very helpful in providing guides and hints on where to go and what to do in Taipei.
The rooms are very well furnished and even the toilets have the Japanese style bidets.
The hotel is walking distance to the ZhongShan mrt station. About 10 minutes walk.
Finally on leaving, the reception lady was very helpful and kind in helping us find our way to the AirPort Express. Thank you Tokyo International Hotel. It has been a nice and...
