Rehoboth salon — Local services in Taipei

I arrived to Rehoboth Salon with a nest of dry hair, exhaustion because it was the end of a long trip, and no expectations for what my experience would be. Except I knew it would be pretty good.

Well… it was MORE than good. It was SPECTACULAR. The owner and lead stylist Charis is a beautiful unicorn who is not only gorgeous outside, but also in her heart. She knew exactly what my hair needed and gave me expert advice and treatment. Not to mention Charis’ positive energy, kindness, care.

Then Yi Cheng, master of hands, did his signature upright shampoo, hair artistry forming my mane into fun shapes like a Minnie Mouse bow, a renaissance queen, an ice cream cone. We had a blast. Yi Cheng is so skilled, his hands should be insured! They are so dexterous. As part of the service I received a long scalp massage that put me right to sleep and made me wake up refreshed to get back in the chair for Charis to do her magic.

Both Charis and Yi Cheng are true artists. They are so passionate at what they do and they work so hard. Due to popularity and business levels, they told me they often work 7 days a week and 10 hour days - not for the money or riches, but because they want to be available for their loyal clientele.

I feel so fortunate to have discovered their amazing salon. It’s an incredible experience. By the end, my hair had new life and my spirits were immensely lifted. I walked out feeling like I was floating on air.

I’m looking forward to my next appointment with Charis and Yi Cheng. They are absolutely gems and experts in their craft who do not rest on their laurels. They give their all to every client and it shows. I can’t recommend Rehoboth...

Honestly, I'm pretty difficult to please so getting all 5 stars means a lot.

First, I'm super happy with the outcome. I feel relaxed, the entire experience was pleasant, my scalp feels clean, and my hair looks freakin amazing.

I made a super last minute appointment through Google. Literally messaged him at 8AM for an AM appointment and was lucky enough to snag an opening at 9:30AM. It's my first time getting a wash/style in Asia and I'm SO happy with the results and the service. He talked me through options and made recommendations based on my wants/needs. Throughout the process he checked in to ensure I was okay (but not too much) and adjusted his style/strength to fit my needs. The attention to detail is next freakin level. I can't say enough positive things about the service received.

I would, 100% return. Also, I'm not sure what the going rate for a wash/style is in Asia but from where I'm sitting, this place is a freakin STEAL. Also, I tipped ~30% cause thats about how much you'd tip for hair related services back home. Honestly, this has been my favorite "me"...

Loved the place! I've been dying my hair for a while overseas, but it is never what I wanted, and I believe it's because they don't work with asian hair that often and the product used overseas is different. I've asked for a lighter hair colour with only one bleach and not touching the roots. My hairdresser 淑惠 did everything that I have asked for and even turned out better than I expected! I loved loved the colour, it was a much lighter than I expected with only one bleach. She also cut my hair and styled it for me. The treatment for my damaged hair was also superb! My hair was so soft and light, the fact that I didn't wash my hair for 5 days after visiting the salon was amazing!! Thank you so much ! i will definitely come and...
