Yun Fu Hotel — Hotel in Taipei

Cleanliness 2/5 - room was dusty, hotel is mouldy, whole building smell musty and pungent. The sewage smell in the room is particularly unbearable.

Location 2/5 - nearest subway station (Zhongshan station) is ~15mins walking distance. No issue if using e-hailing/taxi as it is doorsteps services. Several nearby bus stops.

Staffs services 3.5/5 - my first night was at 503 and the sewage smell was so so so bad. I sprayed half bottle of my room mist that I carried with me and couldn’t resolved. Lucky or not I was tired enough so I was able to sleep.. woke up and even my hair smelled sewage. Went to front desk and feedback, mentioned my room #, Miss Pan 潘小姐 actioned promptly to change me to 605. The floor and room is so much brighter and better - foul smell still there but not as bad. Both rooms bathroom were leaking anyway. There’s even a mysterious clothes found under the sink in my first room (see pic). Facility wise, the “gym room” is simple and crude (see pic).

location is easy to access. close to mrt just 5 mins walk. convenience stores is close both 7-11, family mart. hotel besides the regent hotel.

staffs are nice and friendly, welcome to help, room is nice. there is a hot shower with all bathroom amenities

my rates is inclusove of breakfast. food is ok, restaurant is at 10th floor, top of hotel. starts from 7am-9am

The staff are very helpful and polite. The location is good, plenty of shops and convenience stores around and a few minutes walk to Zhong Shan MRT station.

Be aware this is hotel has been here for a long time and sometimes the rooms have cigarette smell that you can't get rid of.
