TGI FRIDAYS Linsen Restaurant — Restaurant in Zhongshan District

On July 4, 2018 my USA Independence Day, we put our order in at 6:38pm evening at this TGI FRIDAYS on Linsen North Road. Our order did not get delivered to our table until 7:48pm (1 hour and 10 minutes later). People who sat on the tables next to us sat down and put their orders in after we did. You can see the ticket receipt for the time the order was taken at (6:38pm), then the food delivery time at (7:48pm) when I immediately asked for the food receipt.

These people received their orders before us. We asked the waitress and managers for our order and by the look on their faces after they checked their order machine next to the bar, they forgot to submit our order.

The waitress and manager did not even apologize for their mistake and delay to us. All they said is that your order is coming out in 2-5 minutes. At least admit your mistakes and apologize by saying (SORRY FOR THE MISTAKE AND DELAY). They did not even say this at all.

The customer service is very poor and the service is very bad at this TGI FRIDAYS location on Linsen North Road.

I'm an American from the USA and here in Taiwan on business trip. This is the worst food service plus terrible waitress customer service by TGI FRIDAYS Taiwan. You will never see this kind of food service plus waitress customer service in the USA.

This is not the way I should spend my USA 4th of July Independence Day holiday. Bad service at this TGI FRIDAYS on...

The waiter was very friendly when I first arrived, and took my order very quickly. I ordered buffalo wings and a ribeye steak with mashed potatoes and onions rings

Buffalo wings can out and were insanely salty. I think the chef didn’t mix the the sauce with butter. Told the waiter, he took them away and brought another order back with sauce on the side. Still inedible salty, and even the plain wings were not tasty. Then comes the steak. Supposed to be medium rare, and it was rare. Not a huge deal, but that’s 0/2 on getting the food right. Mashed potatoes were gross. Onion rings were ok.

Spent the next half hour sitting there, and the waiters avoided coming over. Finally I told them that food was just…bad. Waiter approached the manager, but the manager didn’t come over, and just told the waiter to give me the meal for free.

Glad I didn’t pay, and the waiters were polite, but not asking about the food for a half hour after I had already sent one dish back was…surprising. Can’t say I recommend...

I had a great time at TGI Fridays (Zhongshan branch). This restaurant provides many tables across two floors and always full with customers. I recommend you to book it in advance. What impressed me most was the attentive and efficient staff; there were plenty of waiters and waitresses in this brunch.

The food itself was delicious. The milkshakes here are my favorite. If you order steak, you can choose your preferred level of doneness, and they even let you check it after serving. If it's not to your liking, they're more than willing to adjust it for you.

The extensive menu offers many options, from food to drinks to desserts, always make me want to return and try even more dishes.

I highly recommend checking out their promotions and discounts before placing your order – they have some deals especially during your birthday month.

Overall, I’m happy with this meal. Both food and service are good. If you like TGI Fridays, I highly recommend...
