Accommodation: nice room which did us for what we needed. It's a place to stay which is super clean and has a comfy bed. ||Location: really good location right next to all the temples in Chaing Mai. It's also on the main road which goes to the pubs and Night Bazaar. You just need to follow the road turning right as you leave the guest house and continue on straight for about 25 mins until you see the McDonald's. ||Staff: Couldn't recommend higher! The staff were all excellent! The manager is really helpful and provided lots of great things to do. He also recommended a great ethical Elephant Sanctuary and paid the tour company in advance for us out of his own money. ||Breakfast: Is included in the price and was decent! ||Tips: |You must do a Elephant tour whist here it's an incredible experience. We only wanted to do an ethical sanctuary where you can't ride them and they are treated right. The owner recommended the 'Elephant Jungle Sanctuary'. This was probably the highlight of our whole trip it was absolutely fantastic and you can see the elephants were treated really well. It's highly rated on trip adviser. I'd also recommend doing the half day morning trip rather than the full or overnight stay. We felt you could get the full experience of this trip...
Read moreThis hotel was super cute and great place to stay in Chiangmai. It's on a quiet street but not too far from the night life. There's a really good thai massage place about 5 min away. The hotel room that I stayed in was super clean and super big. It was way more than what I had expected. The owner of the hotel was also super friendly and nice and very accommodating. My flight arrived really late at night and he stayed up to help checkin. Likewise, I had a super super early flight (5am) out and he again stayed up late, or rather woke up early, to help me check out. He also helped coordinate the taxis, which was super useful since if you're a tourist, taxis will 100% of the time scam you. With his help, I was able to get a taxi to come on time at set price with no issues. Would def recommend anyone to stay here if...
Read moreThis small (5 rooms) hotel was quite a find. Well located - just a couple of blocks from the main street. It is near several well-known wats, many restaurants and walking distance to at least two main night markets. Also the Sat/Sun Walking Market is less than 5 minutes walk. The room was very clean and comfortable. The included breakfast is made to order - 2 American choices and 2 Asian choices. Great coffee here also. Mr Chan the owner is on site and goes out of his way to ensure all guests have their needs met. We had to leave for an early morning tour before the normal breakfast hours - he brought his staff in early so we could have an early breakfast - who does that in larger hotels? There is a great Northern Thai restaurant, Huen Phen, steps away. Stay here if you travel...
