Nice looking place that looks super promising. The cucumber salad was really good and seeing the chefs prepare the food in front of you is a cool concept.
It does feel like the restaurant is new and has some teething issues that could easily be ironed out though. For example, the waiter tried to explain the menu and give recommendations which is usually an amazing way to engage with guests. However, waiting staff need to understand the menu themselves first. My waitress answered questions about the menu such as "is the cucumber salad pickled?" with "no...maybe..." and "what is beef tataki?" with "a type of beef", making the interaction more confusing than helpful!
Also, I sat at the bar as I was solo. The surface of the bar is super cluttered with dishes and glasses making it feel overcrowded, cluttered and obstructive to the view of the chefs cooking which was a big selling point of the restaurant for me.
They also give a free appetiser for giving a 5* review which was really disappointing because I use Google maps to find good restaurants and this practice wrongfully warps ratings. The restaurant is very capable of getting the 5* without bribes!
TLDR: new restaurant with a lot of potential if open to constructive feedback! Hopefully it reaches its full potential because the food and overall idea is amazing and I would love to try more...

The place is a great photography material. Good atmosphere and decoration.
What a shame they ran out of sashimi so we didn’t get a chance to try it. The famous tomato was quite a let down. We received such small portion and small sized tomatoes. The taste was great though. Fried tofu is a must! Crispy ok the outside and melty softness on the inside. Impeccable. Unstoppable. Cantaloupe yunnan ham is so-so. The cantaloupe was fresh and sweet but too little ham to balance the taste. Grilled fish was Mmmmmmmmmmmm. Perfectly grilled. Tender meat. Mouthwatering scent. Corn fried rice with Yunnan ham: just wow. Love at first bite. Though please forget about the calories lol. I think they put the whole butter block in there. Spaghetti mentaiko, I would say good but nothing special to mention about it. You just can find this taste anywhere else as well. Grilled beef in a bowl is a huge letdown though. The most expensive dish on the table but it was tasteless. I couldn’t smell the usual beefy smell. Meat was sliced thin but still tangy - need an effort to chew some piece. The sauce was pretty tasteless and forgettable. Sato (rice wine) was ripoff at 250thb a glass. Tasted quite like a sparkling drink.

Read moreHad dinner at PARI and loved it so much I went back for lunch the next day. Different menu, same amazing quality. The vibe is chill, staff are super nice. The cooking style is simple but intentional—they don’t over-season, so the real taste of the ingredients comes through in the best way.
Dinner faves: 🍅 Fresh Yuchan Tomato with Salt – Juicy, sweet, salty in the best way. Even tomato-haters would vibe with this. 🥩 Grilled beef – Thai beef marinated in shio koji, grilled over longan wood. Tender, smoky, and hits all the right notes. 🍄🟫 Seasonal grilled mushrooms – mushrooms tossed in garlic oil, grilled for smokiness, and finished with citrus zest (ส้มซ่า) 🥗 Grilled beef salad – Cold, refreshing, ponzu-wasabi sauce. Beef melts in the mouth. 🫓 Deep fried tofu – Crispy outside, custard-soft inside. Comforting af. 🍚 Corn fried rice w/ Yunnan ham – Buttery, chewy, savory. MVP of the meal. 🍝 Linguine mentaiko – Creamy, umami-packed but not heavy. Addictive. 🍈 Yunnan ham & melon – didn’t quite land for me. The flavor pairing felt slightly disconnected, though the ingredients on their own were high quality.
