Room was nice and clean, dish was good, restaurant atmosphere was nice, customer service and table service in restaurant was average and mediocre, their waiter or waitress can not catch what you said sometimes.
To the business owner: I did remember I have requested "whether I am allowed to change to have breakfast in another date as I was going to move out to another place closest to my training course in another morning" on my second night with staff who as same as who served at shop this morning. At that night he let me to say to receptist again in the morning while my checking out. While I checked out, I asked receptist about the same question and showed her breakfast ticket and asked whether I can come for breakfast in another day (because it let me to wait for quite long in the first morning and I worry that I might be late to next fixed itinerary.) also asked whether she can change date on that ticket and I will come back, she told me that it is fine don't need to change the date and she will do that for me while I come here again. Today I came to restaurant, of course I told him that I will use breakfast ticket and gave to him, also I ordered another butterfly pea flower tea. He displayed again that he was not sure whether I can use that and went to confirm it. He gave me another menu, however, he did not let me choose coffee or juice, actually eventually there was no coffee no juice for this breakfast which was different from my first breakfast here. The atmosphere at shop was still nice so that I did not think too much at that moment. I paid for my butterfly pea flower tea today, however, the breakfast with with NO COFFEE NO JUICE was former required to be paid, that made no sense. It has been agreed in advance on that day, if you do not offer that in another day, then your team should say that they just pack breakfast and that is still fine. Read morewent to chiang mai in december and i still think about our meal in 294 bistro from time to time! we went here for christmas eve lunch and didnt expect much as they were newly opened at that time. we ordered items for each of my family and everyone really loved what they ordered. price also wasn’t so bad, we found everything to be very value for money.
i had the carbonara and while it isn’t the legit egg-based carbonara, i found it to be the best cream-based carbonara i’ve ever had, and i have had a lot of different carbonaras in the philippines. for the beef fat fried rice, the beef was really tender. the pad thai and stir fried beef shank rice were also really great, and they do their pizza correctly.
service also stood out so much, i forgot his name, but i always remember our server (i remember him telling us that he’s thai-chinese) and he very much was the prime example of thai hospitality to me—he was so helpful with everything and even told us his favorite local mango sticky rice (i believe the restaurant did not have any desserts at that time)
i really wish to be back here 🥹 my family and i loved 294 bistro so much. do give it a try. might stay in their hotel when we go back...

I have stayed there for one person with a double bed room for two days , they offered me two breakfast tickets, one for one room, so it was not worths because only one person, they offered only one set breakfast. On the first night I confirm that as their breakfast offering time only start from 8:30am , I required that whether they can change the date of using breakfast ticket, at 2st night they said to me that is fine I can tell reception while I check out on the 3rd morning. On another morning, I said to her as I don't have time to be there during their restaurant time. Their reception kindly said, that is fine, they can change date for me while I arrive there to have breakfast again. However, today I came back there for breakfast and ordered another drink.
