It is in a good location because you are close to several temples, Tha Pae Gate and several walking markets. We went around new years and it was perfect. The hotel is located down an alley but we never had any issues, even at night.
It's not 4 star quality but it is homey and their service was great. The front desk guys were really helpful in booking us a last min tour. They answered any questions I had and even gave directions. We were always helped and they may not speak the best English but they are learning and it's easy to speak to them. They even packed us to go breakfast when we left early for tours!
There are some good restaurants nearby. Cooking Love was excellent. Try out Loosey Goosey on the corner for good drinks. I didn'tget a chance to try their breakfast becausewe always left early for tours before they started serving.
The rooms are average size with a/c and a tv. It comes with most items needed. Beds are firm and so are the pillows.

Read moreThis boutique hotel is super cute, clean, and extremely friendly. The location of it is off the main inside roads of CM so it is more quiet and slightly secluded. It's literally about a 3-4 minute walk to the main road where the manmade water bank is. There's literally a temple next door, and they have another building across from the main reception area that houses the continental morning breakfast.
The staff here are extremely accommodating. I asked them to call to make a reservation for me since I had no Thai number; no problem! There's a washer and dryer at this facility for hotel guests to use, which is amazing considering if you sweat like a hog and all your clothes are dirty. The bed is pretty comfortable along with the pillows. The shower pressure is medium. I would highly recommend this place and would...
Read moreSMOKING..GRRRR Absolutely the best non smoking hotel for smokers. Ridiculously and unhealthily, each floor has a smoking area at the top of the stairs and directly next to the balconies of deluxe room. So you can't smoke on your balcony but the people sat next to you in the smoking area can!
POOL...GRRR The pool (when it's actually open) is next to the reception and the entrance to all rooms and the only exits of the hotel. It's not a relaxing swim and there's only 2 beds to relax on too.
BREAKFAST...GRR Too late, too little space and too little effort. Most days you'll even be sat waiting for coffee!
SERVICE..GRRRRR But worst of all, this hotel has NO SOUL, staff appear bored, uninterested and were the most unengaging people we met in Thailand.
In summary, too cramped and...
