I finally had the chance to stay at Lana Haven Hotel after watching it grow since the early days.
The first thing that stands out is how spotless the property is. Every detail in the room feels well designed and efficient. You have the essentials done right: refrigerator, a sturdy stool, a solid mattress with comfortable linens, and a large flat screen. The bathroom has a modern look, and the little touches in the interior keep it from feeling plain. The layout is perfect for a traveler. It works well for two people, and it is clear this is a family-owned business cared for with pride and intention. You feel that energy. The staff was super helpful with me being a walk-in and the check in process was smooth.
What impressed me most is how everything works. That alone sets this place apart. The value is excellent compared to other hotels I have stayed in around Chiang Mai. It matches the price point exceptionally well.
The property has two floors with no elevator, so that is something to consider. Corner rooms toward the front bring in more natural light, and balcony rooms on the second floor open things up even more. They also have family rooms, which shows the thought put into serving different types of guests.
I slept well due to the comfort of the bed and pillows. I felt like I was at home.
Lana Haven is clean, smartly designed, and run with genuine care. I highly recommend it to any traveler coming to Chiang Mai.
I am definitely staying here again...
Read moreRoom is small but clean. It’s bad that the door couldn’t be locked from inside and when you want to go out you have to climb from the window! Service is so so. There’s no daily clean up as standard. Since I stayed only for 2 nights so not sure if you have to ask for it, but this isn’t mentioned during check in. When you have problem and tried to call to the front, no one pick up and no one sitting there. No support at all - I had to walk around to find a staff who was cleaning on 2nd floor for help! Location is good since it’s in city center, but roads there are very narrow and it’s difficult to drive pass esp. when the road has one car parked, one coming on the other direction and you wanna go to another direction. They have a few...
Read moreA definite recommendation from me! The staff are honestly the kindest and most helpful people ever — they went out of their way to do us a few favors they really didn’t have to. Even after we checked out, they let us store our luggage there for several days while we were in Pai. The rooms were great, we had absolutely nothing to complain about. The location is, in my opinion, just perfect — right in the center of Chiang Mai, super convenient but still nice and quiet. The neighborhood is lovely too, with lots of cute cafés and restaurants for breakfast and dinner. Would 100% stay here again!
I’d also recommend checking out the Museum of Makers, which is right next to the hotel! It’s such a cool spot and definitely worth a visit while...
