We arrived early evening to no one on the reception, we found a lady asleep on the floor who finally found our booking. We had to retrieve our keys. The showers were filthy, questionable hair all over the sink & flooded water across the toilet floor with blood dripped down the sides. The mattress was like sleeping on an iron board, I am convinced it was made of hay. We requested some sort of mattress topper or quilt so that we could try & get some sleep. We were pointed to a dirty duvet to use as a topper. We had our own sleeping sheets as quilts & pillow sheets were both dirty. |We also saw two people sleeping in reception during the night that were also travelling - all very odd. The staff of this new guesthouse is really friendly and pay attention of what you need. They applied a discount for us for the opening. I book a room with 2 simple beds with a friend, the room is a little bit small but the private bathroom big and nice! Common spaces are also really well thought, design and cosy ! I recommand this cheap guesthouse located is one of the most beautiful area of the city and not far from old city. Came in with a booking, tried to check in 3 times. The young lady was really trying to help, but other workers ignored us completely. We had to wait an entire afternoon to get a key for our room. 4 other guest waiting in the lobby never got theirs- they got a refund and had to find another accommodation due to no rooms available. Basically there was no one that welcomed us, the gate was locked, once we got the key we had to find our room on our own, no one speaks English and they don’t give any attention to their guests.
