Worst massage of my life! I went here because of great reviews and I went for a back and shoulder massage, and oh my got what a horrible massage have I got! Everything was terrible from the start. There was no communication, no attention to details, they first just let us sit to wait in the waiting area without letting us know how long it is going to take for us to get our massage. Then when we got to the massage area they just left us there without saying anything (that we need to change for the clothes). Bad first impression, but what followed after is the most terrible and horrible massage I ever had in my life! Not a single second of the massage felt pleasant for the whole 60 minutes! The masseuse just used her elbows for maybe 90% of the time on my back, with a really strong force, on the same area near the spine over and over again. Not just that, I could tell that she doesnt have a clue on how to massage and what feels good or bad in massage. Bizarrelly she managed to do every single part of the massage wrong. The back part - used mainly elbows, was exteremely painful and uncomfotable, I think I will have brusies afterwards. Some parts with fingers were extremely unpleasant as well. The neck massage - was too hard and strong, the head massage was too fast and not hard enough. She also massaged temples with a strong force that was painful and dangerous. Overall it was extremely painfull and uncomfortable. My partner who went for Thai massage also says it was quite bad (not to the level of my massage though). I have no idea how this place has got such good reviews. Horrible massage and no attention to details in general in there. Avoid...

Absolutely love this place. I walked by a couple of times before and figured yesterday was the time to go in and I did not regret it. Even though I came in at a later time at night and certainly deprived them of an early night off everyone was super friendly and cheerful. The masseuses were still having a laugh and it just felt like a great atmosphere. I got a 2 hour Thai message and it was amazing. My masseuse did not only do a good job but also had great energy which made it even more comfortable. She spotted all the tight spots in my body and put the right pressure in many different ways on it to loosen it. I never felt like she was just "doing her 2 hours and that's it" instead I felt like she worked until she herself thought "yeah that's good". I can 100% recommend this place and will certainly be back. Thank you to the whole team & see...

I usually get massages often because my body is stiff. I have been to many massage shops during my five trips to Chiang Mai, but Cloud9 is the most satisfying. Recently, many massage shops with flashy and bright interiors have opened in Nimmanhaemin, but massage shops should have good facilities as well as good massages. Cloud9's facilities are not modern, but they are cleanly managed, and most of the masseuses are skilled and give great massages. I first visited Cloud9 when I came to Chiang Mai for the third time, and I got a massage at Cloud9 since then. The beautiful owner was always very kind, and the mango and tea provided after the massage were very touching. In particular, my neck and shoulders hurt a lot this time, and the masseuse Lynn did her best to relieve my pain. I am grateful to Lynn and the owner who gave me Thai balm...
