Sadly, it was a disappointment. The restaurant looks great, the menu is looking beautiful, service is friendly. First impressions were very nice. It all went downhill after we ordered. I ordered the salmon nachos and my wife got the croissant with eggs and bacon. The food took a little longer to arrive than we expected, but that's not an issue. The issues started when they brought our dishes. As they were putting my food on the table I was told that they didn't have avocado, so they doubled the portion of the salmon. There were very few pieces of salmon, so I cannot imagine how the "normal" portion looks like. Running out of an ingredient is ok, but we should know about it as we order, not as we are handed the food. But still I would get over it if the food was tasty. It wasn't. My salmon nachos tasted like flour dipped in oil, you could barely taste the salmon, even on the rare occasion that you found a piece of it. I think the salmon nacho idea could be good, but it would have to be done completely differently. I was expecting salmon, freshness and some crunch. What I got was taste of oily flour in every single bite. My wife's croissant was in a similar fashion completely overpowered by the taste of...
Read moreOne of the best Western brunch places I’ve visited in Thailand. It was so good we went back two days later. The nacho sashimi salmon salad and mango smoothie bowl were winners for me. The carbonara was unfortunately spicy, and it was not highlighted on the menu. In terms of baked goods, the scone was not dry or too crumbly and was served warm with homemade jam - I loved it. The carrot cake was moist but didn't have enough spice, although it was still better than most cafes. The croissant was a fail; it was fresh but didn’t have the golden flaky top that crumbles when you bite into it. The coffee was great, as with most Chiang Mai cafes. The space is beautiful with great natural lighting. Only 2 parking spaces outside.
It was crowded on the weekend, and the food took a while to come (the lady did let us know in advance), but there were plenty of seats on a weekday. I would no doubt visit again.
Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service:...
Read moreI had a late lunch by early May with my husband, it's a great lunch just we ordered too much.
The dining area is spacious and the light from outside and shadow of trees was really calming. I love their house music too, hip yet is chilling.
We ordered Iced Cappuccino, coffee itself taste good. Mix Berries Smoothie Bowl, lots of Berries blended together with good portion of chia, granola and fresh fruits. Carbonara, sauce was quite thick, it's our fault to order similar food with creamy sauce Prawn Toast, surprisingly good, although the sauce was a bit much, texture and taste of prawns were like Lobster indeed. The bread itself was like Japanese style, soft, buttery and thick, I saw they have their own bakery for bread too. Potato Soup, can taste and bite how much potato & cream into the soup, very rich and filling, in addition to a touch of fresh parmesan
