Guys if you plan to stay in Bangkok advise this so called hotel is basically a Hostel with a Hotel name. Why there is no TOOTHBRUSH AND NO SHAMPOO PROVIDED!! NO TELEPHONE FOR LOCAL CALLS! The location is situated at the middle of a dark ally where there was someone who got mugged before since it has no street lights after dark!! There is no convenience store for 1 Kilo and at the night you have to walk in the dark streets to get some snacks or water but there is 2 bottles of water provided and water machine at the lobby. The Breakfast they provided is a joke just 2 cereals, juice, coffee power and toast! This is what they call breakfast and 1 platter of fruits really cheap!! The hallways stinks and the curtains has holes in it. Worse of all the clerks has no idea where the hotel closest BTS station is and given me the wrong station and I had to walk my legs off finding this hotel. There was no hotel card so clerk writes me the address and few times I try taking taxi or the motorcycle and they don't know how to get to this place. I had to get off the taxi few times because he doesn't know how to go to this place in the night. Expedia has fooled me by putting the category of hotel but this is actually a cheap hostel in a remote area of the town. PLS BEWARE SINCE IT IS REMOTE AREA AND DARK YOU ARE LIKELY...
Read moreAn old often used adage "you get what you pay for" would not really cover this place. Reception area was slightly bigger than a phonebox, populated by a person of confusing sexuality with her/his hair in rollers excavating deep in a bag of potato crisps. Spurious claims about "all day check ins" were met with derision and we were sent packing at noon, told to return at 1.00pm. We got room 209. Dirty shower, broken shower head, damp patches on walls, holes for power points, lipstick stained pillowcase, holes in bedding, pubic hairs in the bed, windows onto the fire escape that will not close or lock, noise all night from the adjacent brothel, aircon had parts missing, the bed is the same size as the room, the TV has two channels, and just to round things off they arranged a taxi to Don Muang airport telling us it took two hours for Bht 600 .. the trip took 30 minutes and should have cost Bht 150. At Bht 800 a night it is probably the cheapest spot in the Nana catchment ......
Read moreI lOVE THIS HOTEL. AND THE STAFF IS FANTASTIC (Kat, one of the front desk staff members had a smile and a demeanor that exuded happiness and is one of the reasons I made multiple return visits.).The hotel is around the corner from the Swiss Embassy, 1 and a 1/2 blocks to the Central Embasy Shopping Mall, and about a 10 minute walk to Siam Paragon Mall and Central World, agruably the #1 luxury and apparel and technology shopping destinations in all of Asia. And most certainly home to the best looking and best dressed people in the world. The hotel rooms are somewhat spartan...but they are clean and elegant. I stayed in multiple rooms, but my favorite was overlooking the huge 1 block by 1 block non developed green space that was between the hotel and the Swiss Embassy. If you have ever read the book "The Celestine Prophecy", then you'll understand when I say that this land gave us amazing vibes that were...
