We returned to Bangkok and decided to give a try to this 6 month new hotel. It's price was SGD$73 per night for a deluxe king but room sizes are similar even in the deluxe queen or deluxe double rooms. Front desk service is good and polite. And they provide free flow white bread and cappuccino in the lobby. But if you drank up the 2 bottles of water provided, the hotel sells bottled water at 10 bahts. The hotel is only 15 minutes walk to Pratunam but you'd need to cross 2 busy streets and a rail road just follow the locals and raise your hand to wave at the driver before crossing the road. Ratchprarop airport rail is also 5 minutes walk from the hotel and connects conveniently to the rest of the rail network. Food wasn't a problem as a 10 minute walk we arrive at Rangnam road where we visited the Famous Kuam Seafood restaurant as well as the variety of eateries, as well as shopping delights at King Power duty free and Century Mall at Victory monument. But if you are a light sleeper then this hotel isn't for you. Thin walls was a problem and others people chatting can be heard quite abit. Thin windows and lack of soundproofing also let in all the motor cycle and motor vehicle noises into the late night and very early mornings. The rooms do not have any wardrobe too so there were no extra pillows to sandwich myself for each of the 5 nights I stayed. I regretted paying up for my entire stay when I arrived because as early as my first night, the city noises bothered me. I would recommend the hotel because it's clean, new and friendly service. And they acknowledge that the way the hotel was oriented meant that no room was quieter nor noisier than another. If walking to the train station or Rangnam road for food is your plan then please remember to raise your hand and make eye contact with the driver before...
Read moreI don’t usually review on hotels. But this is by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed throughout the trip. Been seeing a lot of good reviews for this hotel turns out to be a disaster. Went for an early check in but to no avail, so I deposited my luggage at the counter and come back later for check in. Only to realize my bag is being cut open on the edge for no reason. About the room itself, the toilet is mouldy. And the scraps around the bathtub looks disgusting. Toilet is not fully covered as it’s a glass sliding door the top edge of the main door is not fully covered. Shower is horrible as the water pressure is uneven so yeah enjoy getting hot and cold shower water throughout. We stayed for 2 nights and the first night has no hot water. Reception is rude, be it morning or night shift. Unhelpful and acting dumb is probably the most suitable words I can describe. Directions on the hotel was unclear so basically grab keeps going to the hotel in front named hotel de Bangkok. Do not come if u have a lot of luggage as the hotel won’t have any bell boy or extra trolley to help u bring up your room. The sound proof of the room is horrible too. As we can hear clearly word by word on next doors conversation. Yes we heard unwanted noise from couples too. Around the hotel has no massage parlour as well. The alley is dark and dangerous, barely can see any tuktuk nearby. No 7e nearby too. When asked the staff on directions, ask us to walk when we requested her to help type in our phone for the exact pinpoint. She say just walk. Yeah we can’t even take grab at this point. Never...
Read moreStayed here for five nights during July 2022, although the location is great, just a few minutes walk from Ratchaprarop Airport Link station, but the hospitality and services are worst and not represent Thai hospitality. The front desk staffs don't seem like to show you welcome grimace. The lobby is quite big but no sitting sofa except high chairs and a long stone chair which was not comfortable at all to sit. Free coffee machine and microwave at lobby. The room is average and I stay in a room with bathtub but no shower screen, so you need to sit or squat in the bathtub while having shower. During my five nights stay, I need to ask for the Nescafe every day, only the first morning they replenish it. Bathroom amenities are complete, and they do give two free bottle of water every day. Although the hotel is one block from the highway, but you will experience the traffic noise until midnight. No breakfast option and eating place is not around the hotel area. You need to walk to Rangnam Road to find the meals. Public transportation is easy, but as usual you need to know where to go otherwise it is not easy to use public bus in Bangkok. I don't think I will return to stay although the location is quite near to airport train station, but the hospitality and traffic noise have...
