Baan Sutra Guesthouse — Hotel in Ratsada

I booked here by accident, initially intending to stay at Baan Suwantawe, but couldn't be bothered to change my booking! So, my first time at the Baan Sutra Guesthouse, and what a really pleasant surprise. The hotel is on Dibuk Road, a one way road, but pretty much in the heart of Phuket Town. ||Everybody super friendly and I was expected.||Nice room on the 1st floor.||Not huge, but fully tiled, clean, comfortable double bed, en-suite shower and with a decent air conditioner.||The room had instant coffee, kettle, hair dryer, safe, TV and daily bottled water (x2)||There are many restaurant, coffee shops and bars all within a 10 minute walk.||The manager was very helpful in suggesting nearby restaurants.||(I went to RAYA, ONE CHUN & PROHIBITION BAR)||From street to room - one minute!||(street parking)||Worth noting - there is no lift (so perhaps not for the elderly) and not all rooms have a view.||I booked through AGODA and for $10 a night - very good value.||Perhaps a...

I just reached here , but can't wait to tell you about it 😅, In Simple words " best Guesthouse I've been in in Phuket Town". Where do I start

1- the location : the normal Phuket buses (50bhat) will drop you 5 min walk away from the stop.

2- you came early ? No problem the reception guy was sooo polite and offered to look after my bag till the room was ready.

3- heavy bag ? The guy was so friendly he kept asking if he can carry ny bag up stairs.

4- he gave me a quick tour in the room and how to operate everything.

5- helped in selecting tours .

6-Room was big , super clean , well equipped and felt secure.

7- Bathroom again super clean and toiletries are new and not from the cheap type.

8- windows everywhere , very sunny and healthy atmosphere.

If you want to book somthing convenient...

This is a very good option in a great location, just across the street from the main large Temple at the edge of old town. A few minutes walking to anywhere in old town. Lots of great eateries and shops right around the corner, and a street or two away. The family that runs this nice ultra clean place are very nice people. Great security, not that you'd need it, and thoughtful touches for a comfortable stay. The bed is comfortable, and the rooms are quiet. I did my laundry there and it was extremely affordable and they did an excellent job, which was much appreciated. The nice young gentleman that works there got me a taxi to the airport - his friend, at 5:15 a.m. in the morning. The nice taxi driver was on time and waiting. Highly...
