We stayed here for one night then moved hostels. I have stayed at many locations in SEAsia, and sadly this was one of my more disappointing experiences. On hostel word it clearly states in two locations they accept credit cards, upon arrival we were told cash only. The WiFi did not work, and the front desk receptionist did not attempt to help us in any way, and would put her ear buds in and ignore us if we tried to ask questions. (Side note: WiFi started working a few hours after our arrival). ||Our room was not labeled so we had to try different doors with our key on our floor. The room appeared clean at first, but upon closer inspection we noticed mold all over the wall next to the bed, and a large hole in the wall. The bathroom once again had lots of mold on the walls. I was on my way to another hostel when Hao Hostel captured my attention; when I stopped in to check on prices I was met by the friendliest, most accommodating staff. I was welcomed at once, and made to feel comfortable. Breakfast is served each morning, coffee available all day, and the kitchen available for use; smoking is permitted on the spacious balcony, the tv in the common area offers Netflix, and the WiFi connection is strong. Arrived late evening (which they were informed about and promised to have a staff member available to let us in) to an empty and locked hostel, rang bell and waited for 20 minutes no answer.
