First,we arrived to check in ,the staffs didn’t talk to us at all, just let us to seat and wait and gave us the key and voucher without giving us any information, not even where the breakfast was serves or the floor our room was.||Second, there was one old man insisted on carrying our baggages to the room and wait for the tips even we said no to carry them.||Third ,the room was very small ,not even got the space to open the luggage . The swimming pool was very filthy and disgusting, it was obviously not cleaned since long time, that’s why nobody went there at all.||Fourth ,the staffs were rude and ignored us at all. For the breakfast, my son had left half waffle on the plate ,we asked one bag to bring back to the room, the staffs told us that the baby didn’t have voucher for breakfast so he was eating for free and we couldn’t bring anything away, as they told us, is the house rule. Nothing wrong with it but the day before an old Thai lady had the whole breakfast took away!!|They were not really nice to 15 months old baby. We will never ever come back again .||The only positive thing is the location, very close to the city centre, that’s it .||Not really family friendly, I strongly advise don’t go to this hotel at all . They don’t care about visitors specially foreigners. The 4 days we were there they had 2 weddings and 2 other functions, it seemed that the hotel guest aren’t this important. They were just nice to...
Read moreI stayed here for 2 weeks and this is my review. Relatively expensive hotel compared to others. First of all my compliments to the porters who accompany the cars (taxis) on arrival and everytime opens the door for you when arrive/leave. Also a big shoutout to the friendly ladies in the restaurant. Which brings me to the next point; the restaurant is way too small for the size of the hotel. The breakfast is good but limited. Little variation, but ask for a omelet if you want. The rooms are good and not noisy (fortunately). The air conditioning works well, but it's an old system (analogue). Unfortunately no safe, which I find exceptional for such a large and expensive hotel. They are not responsable in case of loss of valuables (see photo I attached). You get 2 water in glass bottles every day, which is very unconvenient if you want to take a bottle with you outside. Would be better to give plastic water bottles, but from a sustainability perspective I understand it. I also found many ants, those very little ones that are barely visible. Maybe an idea to place decoys. The 'balcony' is not practically built, ideal place for birds (pigeons), which you often can hear at night. No rack to hang your clothes to dry. Fridge is put in a closet, feels very warm. Only 4 clothes hangers in a huge closet. All in all, for the money I paid I would have expected much more....
Read moreHotel is newly renovated but some of the items inside the room is quite old like the bed frame. Luckily I am just an average weight. Location is perfect for those who just want to walk around and explore the area. There’s a lot of restaurants & cafe nearby but my most favourite is the nearby spa. The service is good, especially at the restaurant and those who tidy up the rooms. The only downside is the check-in process which takes super long. Early check-in is impossible. Arrived 10minutes earlier and declined for check-in because the room is not ready. I tried to check-in again around 14:06 and was declined again. Luckily my thai friend is there to help me talk with the reception and viola they have the available room for me instantly. As for the amenities there’s an outdoor swimming pool and I am sure they can still improve the cleanliness of it. They offer free coffee and tea but there’s no kettle/water heater available in the room. Lucky for me I don’t take hot drinks so it’s fine. But overall my...
