I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maimorn Forest, and overall, it was a great experience with a few minor drawbacks. If you’re looking for a restaurant with a stunning atmosphere, friendly service, and refreshing drinks, this is a solid choice.

Service & Staff

One of the highlights of our visit was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. From seating us promptly to checking in throughout the meal, their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. It’s clear that they prioritize customer satisfaction, which is always a big plus.

Atmosphere & Ambiance

The atmosphere at Maimorn Forest is absolutely beautiful. Surrounded by lush greenery, the setting feels like an escape from the busy city. The natural elements, combined with the well-designed dining space, create a relaxing and cozy vibe—perfect for both casual meals and special occasions.

Parking Situation

One of the only downsides was the parking lot, which felt a bit disorganized. It wasn’t the most convenient setup, and depending on how busy the restaurant is, finding a good spot could be a bit challenging. However, this wasn’t a dealbreaker—just something to be aware of if you’re driving there.

Food & Drinks • Pad Thai – The Pad Thai was delicious—well-balanced flavors, not too sweet, and cooked just right. Definitely one of the better versions we’ve had. • Pad Krapow – This dish was just okay. While the flavor was decent, it didn’t stand out as much as the Pad Thai. It could have used a bit more spice or depth in seasoning to really make it memorable. • Smoothies – Our absolute favorite part of the meal! The mango and strawberry smoothies were incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly blended. If you visit, these are a must-try! • Orange Juice – The fresh orange juice was great in terms of taste but a bit too small for the price. However, considering it’s made from fresh oranges, the portion size is somewhat understandable.

The restaurant captivated us in every detail! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel truly appreciated. Initially, we were offered a table in the air-conditioned dining room, but we politely requested a spot in the garden, as we prefer to avoid air-conditioned spaces. To our surprise, two incredibly kind and petite waitresses, with big smiles on their faces, carried a table outside just for us. Watching them do this was genuinely heartwarming – in many other places, we’d simply be told there were no available seats. Thanks to their remarkable effort, we were able to enjoy our meal in perfect conditions, surrounded by lush greenery.

The dishes were an absolute feast – generous portions, beautifully presented, like in a top-tier restaurant. For two starters, two main courses, two passion fruit cocktails, a matcha latte, and an ice cream dessert, we paid 1400 THB – a price more than fair for the quality. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and although communication in English was sometimes a bit challenging, every order arrived flawlessly.

This is one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever dined in, however the service was unfortunately not on the same level. There is a big language barrier which usually wouldn't cause too much of an issue, but we did not receive the spring rolls we tried to order and when I ordered a rose petal gin and tonic they did not tell me they had ran out of 3 of the 4 ingredients that went into it - and substituted the gin for whisky. When I told them it didn't taste right they couldn't understand what my problem was. It then took a further 30 minutes to receive a different drink by which time I had finished my meal and just wanted the bill.

They also got my partners drink wrong and tried to deliver it to the wrong table despite us being 1 out of 3 couples dining there. Food was okay but not outstanding which was disappointing as we only spent the one night in Phuket and this was our first sit down meal in Thailand. Wouldn't recommend it if you can only...
