House of Machine Boutique Hotel - Bangkok — Hotel in San Chao Pho Suea Subdistrict

First off, it's a beautiful bldg and room, but that is all it has going for it. There is nothing around besides houseless persons and sex workers at night on the street and its block. The only reason I'm giving it a 2 star for location is that there's a new wine bar a couple blocks away, with great options and good vibes.There were two employees present and that seemed extra because there was no one there (except when I checked out there was a quiet women on her phone).I felt watched as there were only six rooms, and I felt ushered out. E.g., I walked out of my room at 1058, and one employee was right there, like, waiting to knock, and then after I paid (for the overpriced --especially as there wasn't breakfast, and only instant coffee-- snacks: 80 baht a bag), I walked to a table to charge my phone.The two paced about one even asking and checking -- glancing at my phone-- that my Grab was on the way. It was uncomfortable and their kindness felt like nervous, perfunctory: as if they, like the hotel's name were mechanical windups. I said the ride was on its way and they quickly grabbed my bags, waited outside (but that was awkward, and felt more like ensuring my departure than hospitable) and loaded my bags.If a business person or couple want a very quiet, pretty space: okay. They have the coolest bathroom. Otherwise go elsewhere. I took the Grab to Four Monkeys, the room was a 3.7 on aesthetics, but the vibe a 4, and they let me check in immediately. I'd not stay in the House of Mechanics again, even if...

The "House of Machine" Hostel has chic design and decoration with materials of automotive spares. There is a coffee shop on the ground floor of the Hotel, decorated with automotive spares. I like the lighting of the Hotel. From the second floor and higher floors, there are only 2 guest rooms per floor, including one large room and one small room for privacy. We stay at Room No.201, which is large and fully equipped with a microwave oven, a dish washing machine, a refrigerator, and is ideal for a long stay. The room is large and has a living room with 55-inch TV and a bedroom with comfortable bed and all delicately selected decorative items, including a lantern and unconventional decorative items in the room. I highly recommend this Hostel to those intending to stay in areas near San Chao Pho Sua and several temples for admiration of their Thai-style elegance. A friend recomended this wonderful boutique hotel, originally I booked for 3 days and I loved it so much I booked for 3 more days until I left Thailand. The staff gives unparalled service quicly with any needs that you may have. Nooy at the front desk will give you good suggestions for shops/sightseeing/resturants and is quick to help find you several guided tours A+! There is a coffee shop with a great selection of drinks, tasty food and gelato/ice cream. The rooms are new with lots of space and are clean/ comfortable, they are also competitively priced. The area is close to a few resturants and the famous street food everywhere. Its about a 15 minute walk to Khao san road with amazing resturants, shopping and nightlife. It was my 1st time in Thailand and I plan on coming back at least once a year + will stay at at the House of Machine. A++...
