I recently had the pleasure of dining at Anya Authentic Thai Cuisine in Bangkok, and it was a delightful culinary adventure. The menu offered a kaleidoscope of tastes and textures.
I started with the Fried Sun Dried Beef with Herbs, and it was a perfect introduction to the Thai flavors. The beef was both soft and fragrant with lemongrass, making it an irresistible appetizer.
Next, I indulged in the Stir Fry Chicken with Cashew Nuts. The dish had a fantastic balance of flavors, with the chicken offering a crisp and fresh sensation, complemented by the satisfying crunch of cashew nuts.
The Stir Fried Pork Belly with Chili and Salt was a standout dish. The pork belly achieved the ideal balance of being crispy on the outside while remaining soft and moist in the middle. The blend of chili and salt added a delightful kick to each bite.
The Deep Fried Pork Wrapped in Chinese Noodles was a unique and delicious creation. The crispy noodles gave way to tender pork, creating a delightful contrast in textures.
Finally, the Signature Platter featured an assortment of small portions, each offering a different flavor and texture. It was a perfect showcase of the chef's expertise and the restaurant's commitment to delivering an authentic Thai dining experience.
Overall, Anya Authentic Thai Cuisine exceeded my expectations with its delectable dishes. If you're seeking a memorable Thai culinary adventure in Bangkok, this restaurant is a...
Read moreThe food was good enough to avoid it being a 1. Where this restaurant truly fails is the customer service, during our meal they set our table as we were trying to eat our appetizers, which were good. I was then asked to move so that they could put new napkins in the cabinet behind me, of course I did without any fuss but was very confused as to why it needed to be done right then and there while we were seated.
We then only received half of our order and the staff just watched as my girlfriend ate her food and I sat there waiting for my food looking at the door. I was confused since we ordered the same thing, eventually after looking at the staff for about 10 minutes and them just ignoring me I finally asked if my food was coming to which I was met with confusion. The waitress had read our order back to us and it was correct, I was then asked what I had ordered and was told it would take about 15 minutes. At this point my girlfriend was all but done eating so I told them I didn’t want anything. I asked for the bill 2 minutes later and was asked if I didn’t want my food as they had started preparing it despite me telling them I was okay. They apologized once after I paid and then said nothing as we left which normally wouldn’t bother me but we were the only people in there and they knew we were disappointed making me feel that their apology was sincere. Portions were also small, I’d definitely recommend...
Read moreIt was probably one of the best food I tried in Thailand in 4 years. But first, let me tell u how good the service was. Nice waitress, calm and who let's you take the time to choose without pressuring you. The decoration is nice. Nothing too fancy., just nice enough for u to feel comfortable. The menus are in both Thai and English with pictures which is always helpful for us foreigners. The food was really flavourful. Nothing too spicy or too agressive, beautifully put together and with many subtle tastes. I had a khao Soi which I recommend since even my gf admitted that it was a very good one. We tried 4 others dishes and It was great too. Finally the price is totally fair. Compared to those tasteless mall chain restaurants it is worth every penny. Only one thing to adjust would be the "traditional saloon" doors of the toilets which are not the best. Overall after 4 years in Bangkok it is definitely one of the most amazing traditional...
