I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the way we were treated upon arriving at our hotel this morning at 7:15 AM. We fully understand that this was earlier than the official check-in time, but we politely asked the receptionist if there was any chance of an early check-in and made it clear that we were willing to pay for it.
Instead of responding professionally, the receptionist shouted at us, telling us the hotel was full and that we should return at the official check-in time. When we calmly pointed out that this was not an appropriate way to speak to guests, he justified his behavior by saying he had just started his shift.
This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially after a long trip. There is a security camera at the reception, and I strongly encourage reviewing the footage to confirm exactly what happened.
We expect to be treated with respect and courtesy when staying at a hotel booked through Booking.com, and this experience fell far below those expectations. I believe this situation warrants a formal apology from the hotel, and I also expect Booking.com to address this matter seriously.

I had booked 5 rooms for 5 nights from 15th to 20th but we left in one day.
Avoid this hotel at all costs! My stay from August 15th to 16th was a disaster, courtesy of Lion Foursides Hotel's blatant dishonesty and appalling service.
The hotel's room size was a blatant lie - we paid for 300 sq ft and got a cramped 150 sq ft space. When we complained, the staff shrugged it off, claiming no availability. Their utter disregard for customer satisfaction is staggering.
The staff's behavior was abysmal - rude, unhelpful, and downright hostile. Asking for basic amenities like comforters and water was met with disdain. It's clear they're not interested in providing even the most basic level of service.
And to add insult to injury, they're refusing to refund our unused nights, claiming we left voluntarily. This is a blatant attempt to swindle customers out of their hard-earned money.
Lion Foursides Hotel's management should be ashamed of their establishment's conduct. Until they take responsibility for their mistakes and overhaul their service, stay far, far away from this dump.

The location is good but the people and the restaurants around are weird and super expensive for very bad quality. On our second day we didn’t have any water because the water pipe broke, and they were not at all cooperative on how they could make our stay better. They said it will take 30min but it took 2 h. Furthermore, the breakfast is not good at all, we didn’t even eat it after our first day. We asked the staff in the reception for different things and you had to remind them several times to get it. On the Sunday they knocked on our door at 10am and asked for housekeeping, and we were sleeping since we had been outside all day on the Saturday, it was a very bad feeling to be woken up by someone knocking several times on your door.
Another thing that isn’t true, they promote that the rooms are noise cancelling however it is only noise cancelling to the outside. Otherwise we could hear everytime when someone pushed the elevator button or was only talking in the next room.
