I highly recommend you stay here if you like genuine honest hospitality. The hotel and room is not perfect, it's good but the staff here are incredible! They are the friendliest and most helpful people I have ever met anywhere I have stayed. We stayed two nights, next time it'll be longer. We were on the top floor with a terrace and amazing views. City scape one side and Galata Tower on the other. Our room was quirky and exceptionally clean. Very quiet here. The bed is very comfortable and it faces the window so if you sleep with the blinds up, you wake up to an amazing view of the bridge in the distance. If you're a early riser you'll be rewarded with a gorgeous sunrise. The terrace has table and chairs and is the perfect location for an evening wine or morning coffee. We didn't really use the lounge area as we liked the outside area best. The bathroom was small but functional. A little lacking in bench top space. The place on arrival is visually not very welcoming with a small reception area and dull decor and there's no sign for the hotel outside so it's fun trying to find it. But the staff are amazing and the room character is appealing. Coffee and tea making facilities. Fridge. TV are all good. Good shower pressure and hot water. You have amazing restaurants at your door. Projecafe (Good Design, Good Coffee) does a fantastic breakfast. Arada is also very very good. Lavender we didn't try. The tram is literally at the bottom of the hill. ...
Read moreTo say the least, it was disappointing. Five of us booked this for two nights to attend a Wedding near Istanbul. We were supposed to be picked up from the airport, but no one showed up, so we had to get our own Uber. Then, once we arrived at the "Hotel," they demanded payment for the no-show pick-up. Later, the receptionist showed us our rooms only to discover that we were on the wrong floor. He stated he'd be right back with the correct keys after delivering us to the correct one. He didn't show up, and the reception area was deserted. With a room that couldn't be locked, I felt incredibly vulnerable. We departed the next day for the wedding and returned the next night to find that only two of the three rooms were available. They insisted on putting an extra bed in one of our rooms. However, because we were all adults and two couples, we didn't feel comfortable having a fifth person in such a place. (What if we were super religious?) We requested a refund because the hotel was unable to provide what we had booked. They then lied to Airbnb about it, claiming that they are now unable to obtain one. DO NOT BOOK HERE. The most hostile personnel you've ever met, as well as filthy, ancient rooms that make you gag. This is not how I had envisioned my...

It was absolutely horrible, not only disgusting but also very unsafe! They are liars and even though I booked through booking.com they could not help me, so an advice is also don’t book through them. ||I am a solo traveler, traveled the world but this was insane, I was very grateful I had friends to save me from their property, I actually had the emergency phone in my hand.||||IF by now you don’t believe me yet, perhaps the photos help with the comparison, eventhough they don’t do the room justice (in the bad way), the smell was super horrible too. It is a bummer I can not add that to here as you would throw away your device by the horror of it. ||||But don’t forget as per the properties people mentioned to some people about me: She is Dutch so her standards are too high.||||ps. I could write pages and pages about what happened and how scary and bad it was. I just hope that eventhough I didn’t get the help I needed with this, it might help you all with not putting yourself in danger...
