We asked to change our table to another table the waiter told us we can't BC the table only for 6 person however in other days when I come I used to stay there normally . Which is was wired as we all want to have breakfast the table was not fitting our plates.

I attend a place in Sultan Ahmet which supposed to be more expensive the service fee was 34 Turkish lira . The responsibie people in this country should know about this fee insane one

My recent visit to Lavender Cafe in Istanbul was an utter disaster. This place is nothing but a scam, and the service is an absolute disgrace. The staff did the bare minimum, and to top it off, we were charged double the amount for what we received.
When we confronted them about this rip-off, they had the audacity to blame us, saying it was our fault for not explicitly stating that we wanted two servings. And when we asked to take the remaining food with us, they callously refused, claiming it had already been thrown away.
But that's not even the worst part! One of the waiters had the nerve to insult us, suggesting that as "foreigners," we deserved such treatment for not understanding their so-called rules. And to add insult to injury, they had the gall to disparage our Turkish language skills, despite us being German with Turkish roots.
I'm livid, and I urge everyone to steer clear of this sham of a cafe. Don't be fooled by their facade; the staff is utterly unhelpful and will take advantage of anyone who doesn't speak Turkish fluently. Lavender Cafe has left me seething with anger and has completely soured my impression of dining...
Read moreThe place is attractive from outside, but don't be fooled. The service and food among the worst I came across in Turkey. I ordered menemen, lemon cake and latte. Menemen was uneatable, tasteless, without special souce and cheese, just warm vegetables with a bit of egg. It was cooked somewhere else, because the pot they usually serve it in was stone cold. I hardly ate some. Cake was old about 3 days ago I think. Latte was ok. Service was bad, I was alone, so they did not even care to smile to me. There was a big group of tourists and the guy managed a smile to them. Surprise happened when they tried to charge 120 try for service ) I think majority of people pay it, but you dont have to! It is not a reastaurant! So when I pointed out to this, they quickly made another bill excluding scam charge. My guess the management of this place is so bad and they treat their personnel so poorly, so this is really a case of negative selection. Because Turkey is very hospitable country, one of the best in service. Try another place,...
