Mas Suites Karaköy — Hotel in Beyoğlu

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mas Suites Hotel in Karaköy from October 30th to November 6th, 2024, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience Review of Mas Suites Hotel in Karaköy

The room was incredibly spacious, with a luxurious Jacuzzi that provided the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail in every part of the room made it feel like a home away from home.

One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service provided by Mr. Fikret. He was incredibly attentive and took care of all our needs, from restaurant recommendations to organizing our airport transfer, which made our trip so much easier. His warmth and professionalism truly enhanced our experience, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about making our stay perfect.

The location of Mas Suites is fantastic, right in the heart of Karaköy on a vibrant street full of energy. Everything you could possibly need is just steps away, from cafes and shops to local attractions. It’s the ideal spot if you want to experience the lively atmosphere of Istanbul.

The hotel also has a wonderful bar downstairs where we enjoyed delicious meals. The food was excellent, and it was so convenient to be able to order food, drinks, and even shisha directly to our room. The quality of the in-room dining was exceptional, which added to the overall luxury of the stay.

I highly recommend Mas Suites Hotel in Karaköy to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay in Istanbul. With its beautiful rooms, outstanding service, and perfect location, it’s a top choice for anyone...

Sehr enttäuschender Aufenthalt

Die Unterkunft entsprach nicht den Bildern auf der Webseite, was bereits den ersten Eindruck trübte. Die Atmosphäre war dunkel und düster, aber das wäre noch akzeptabel gewesen.

Leider war der gebuchte Whirlpool (Jacuzzi) stark verschmutzt. Das Badezimmer war in einem untragbaren Zustand: Es fanden sich Utensilien vom vorherigen Gast, darunter Tamponverpackungen und Haare. Auch die Tassen für Getränke waren nicht sauber. Insgesamt war die Hygiene katastrophal, was dazu führte, dass wir uns überhaupt nicht wohlfühlten.

Nachts war es extrem laut – andere Gäste verursachten bis 5 Uhr morgens Lärm. Ab 6 Uhr sorgte dann der Straßenlärm für Unruhe, da ein Fenster nicht richtig schloss.

Als wir den Manager auf diese Missstände ansprachen, reagierte er unprofessionell und aggressiv. Das Problem mit dem Fenster wurde nur halbherzig gelöst, und der Zustand des Whirlpools wurde heruntergespielt. Eine angebotene Reinigung wurde nicht durchgeführt. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass wir aus der Unterkunft geworfen werden könnten, wenn wir weiter diskutieren.

Fazit: Eine äußerst negative Erfahrung, die weder den Bildern auf der Buchungsseite noch den grundlegendsten Standards entsprach. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert!

Very disappointing stay

The accommodation did not match the pictures on the website, which spoiled the first impression. The atmosphere was dark and gloomy, but that would have been acceptable.

Unfortunately, the whirlpool (jacuzzi) we had booked was very dirty. The bathroom was in an intolerable condition: there were items from the previous guest, including tampon wrappers and hair. The cups for drinks were not clean either. Overall, the hygiene was catastrophic, which meant that we did not feel comfortable at all.

It was extremely loud at night - other guests were making noise until 5 a.m. From 6 a.m. onwards, the street noise caused unrest because a window did not close properly.

When we spoke to the manager about these grievances, he reacted unprofessionally and aggressively. The problem with the window was only half-heartedly solved and the condition of the whirlpool was downplayed. A cleaning that was offered was not carried out. We had the feeling that we could be thrown out of the accommodation if we continued to argue.

Conclusion: An extremely negative experience that did not match the pictures on the booking page or the most basic standards. Absolutely not...

Run away !!! It's the worst hotel experience I have ever haved ! First of all, the hotel is on the top of a bar, paying really loud music all day and night. There is absolutely no sound insulation, so it's like you're sleepong (or not sleeping!!) in a nightclub. But it is not what was worst : on the second day, when we went to our room to rest in the afternoon, we found the manager of the hotel sleeping into our bed. He had let all of his stuff in our room and was also drinking our water. The only explanation we had is that "they thought we left". There was of course no refund. If you are wondering why they have such a good review on Booking.com : when you're complaining, they tell Booking you didn't show so that you can't write your review. There is way better for way cheaper...
