We got here so i can taste the legendary local cuisine turkish can offer. At first sight i was mesmerized with the delightful sweet cake and decor this place have to offer. From outside look like ordinary dungeons but inside so warmth and giving good mood. We sat down inside and order tea and some sweet for me, the waiter is very friendly and accommodating alright the place is packed of people when we come they treat us good, i even able communicate to ask whether or not I can charge my phone due the batterry almost finished. The waiter informed me that i can go to cashier to put my phone there and charge for free. İ was so happy cause my power bank is in the bag in car parked quite far from this place. İ can't speak turkish well, but i understand few words. When i got to the cashier I'm asking the cashier if possible to help to charge my phone, this man say it's not possible his gesture answering my question were so rude from his face, body language and tone voice i was so offended by his action i go back to my table. İ don't enjoy any of food and drink serve. Later after some time the waiters come back clean our table and pick up nee order he ask did i charge my phone already I'm saying i reply it's can't be done. Then i found out that i have to bring my own cable to charge. But again this man action answering or even treating me was very rude. İ took his picture while his in cashier, i take his picture openly and he was trying avoid my camera.
İf I'm not with friend and family i definitely cinfirnt the manager and convey my disappoinment for this man behavior toward a guest.
Anyway it's will be my first and last...
Read moreNo trip to Istanbul is complete without a visit to the legendary Hafiz Mustafa, and my experience there was nothing short of delightful!
Their ice cream is rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced in sweetness—the texture is smooth and dense, just the way Turkish dondurma should be. Whether enjoyed on its own or paired with their famous desserts, it’s a treat worth savoring.
The baklava was divine—flaky, golden layers soaked in just the right amount of syrup, with generous fillings of premium pistachios and walnuts. Every bite melts in your mouth, bursting with authentic flavor and craftsmanship.
But the highlight for me was the ice cream kunafa—a showstopper! The warm, crispy layers of shredded pastry wrapped around stretchy cheese, topped with a big scoop of their signature ice cream. It was a perfect contrast of hot and cold, crunchy and creamy—pure indulgence on a plate.
The ambiance of Hafiz Mustafa, with its nostalgic decor and friendly staff, only adds to the charm. It's not just a dessert shop; it’s an experience of tradition, flavor, and Turkish hospitality.
Highly recommended for anyone with a sweet tooth or looking to taste the true essence of Ottoman-style desserts in the heart...
