Endican Beyazit Hotel — Hotel in Fatih

My husband and I stayed here during Covid-19 while touring Istanbul. Over the weekend, Istanbul goes on lockdown, which means we had to stay in the hotel the entire time, leaving only to get food from a local market. Despite the tight quarters, we enjoyed our stay. We found the hotel to be clean and our room to be comfortable. We were given a top-floor unit, which meant we could open the windows, enjoy the breeze, and look out over the water. The hotel staff is incredibly responsive--this included picking us up from the airport and arranging a taxi for our departure. We thought the breakfast was good, too--with quite a bit of variety. The only downsides to our stay was a faulty modem, which meant we spent about two days trouble-shooting with the staff to get it fixed. The communication barrier made that a little tricky, but it did eventually get fixed! Secondarily, the push-button stopper in our sink got stuck while we were washing our masks, which made the sink unusable. All-in-all, though, we'd definitely recommend this hotel. This hotel has its ups and downs.

A definite down would be the breakfast. Nothing was fresh (some things had even gone bad, as you can see in the pictures), hard bread and croissants (from the day before or even two days prior) - overall, unacceptable for a hotel breakfast.

Another down would be the fact that the rooms look nothing like the pictures on the website. The rooms (and the bathroom) are tiny, incredibly small and lack basic amenities like a place to hang your clothes. We booked a double room and they gave us a triple room which meant that things were even more crowded. They did not change it even after we contacted Reception.

Worst hotel ever! Please do not go here! Rooms are very dirty,they smell really bad,air condition is not working. Bathroom is terrible , very very dirty. Maids come every day to fold DIRTY towels that are USED , and that is it! No dusting , no cleaning . Also you can literally hear everything that guests near/above you are speaking , it is very loud , no soundproof isolation. Maids are very rude . No disinfection , which is terrible since we live in time where covid is present , not to mention that rooms are not desinfected. Horrible place , please stay somewhere else. Maybe this place is "clean" to people that are messy...
