I stayed for only a night in this hotel (single room), but I had stayed in two other places in Istanbul — both of which were better options. ||||While Erenler Hotel was a few minutes' walk to most tourist places in Istanbul, there are hotels and hostels nearer the Sultanahmet area. The good thing about the location of this hotel though is how it's a bit on the farther side from the busy streets, so it's a nice place for some quietude and rest. My one criticism about the location is that the restaurants closely nearby are really expensive , and the turkish delight/lokum shops have a tendency to overcharge (up to 4x) and scam their customers (mainly naive tourists I assume), so Id reccomend travelling further towards the spice bazaar area for food and/or delights. The facilities are very well maintained and are clean, the toilet and showers are all clean also. The owner is a very nice man who is very hospitable and a pleasure to deal with. Read moreGood hotel in the heart of the city, 3 minutes walk from the Gulhane station. Nearby there are many shops, cafes and restaurants. Wi-fi throughout the territory, never had problems with communication. Shower rooms and toilets in sufficient quantity - clean, with good plumbing and hot water. Bed linen, towels and mattresses in perfect condition - it's comfortable to use them. In general, hotel has very hospitable atmosphere. The management is so friendly - when you live here you feel that you are visiting friends. What you need - just ask them. Everything is very easy! I have the warmest memories of this hotel! Best regards!...
