They seamlessly arranged an airport pickup for me (price is 80 euros) . Cemal was such good company otw to the hotel. Gave me a brief background on Selcuk and pointing out all the orchards with the fruit trees. The hostel itself is very neat and clean. The building where you check in is a short walk from the actual hostel though. I lucked out that I was the only guest at the time in the ladies dorms so I had the room and the toilet all to myself. Bed was comfy and the pillow was so soft and divine. There are shoe cabinets under the bed. The rooms also have AC. The check in area has a very friendly cat and dog, which I think, is important to point out because they both wanted pets... Cemal also gave me a ride to Kusadasi for my boat tour for the taxi price 35 euros. Wifi is fast and there's a rooftop balcony you could chill on for dinner or breakfast. Kitchen is clean and functional with a water heater I was able to use to make tea and coffee. I was planning on checking out early morning before I went for a tour around Ephesus but no one was at the reception at 8am. So I just left my stuff in the hostel lobby, went for my tour and came back to pay for my stay. Very chill place. Very central. The Ephesus museum is just below. Train station is maybe an 11 or 12mins walk away . Ayasuluk hill/St. John's Basilica also a very short walk away. Would recommend for solo travelers who want a...
Read moreI stay here for 3 nights. It was clean and appears to be a dearly new hostel. Toilet seat (underneath) needs cleaning. Kitchen needs new pans because the ones they have are damaged so bad it won’t heat up the food.
The beds were big and comfortable. Smelled nice. Location is right next to the Ephesus museum & short drive to the ancient site. AC worked nicely and kept me cool while I slept.
Lots of markets, restaurants and McDonald’s nearby.
Yousef was friendly and even suggested I use the nice pool located at a hotel near their property. The owner is the same. The pool is very nice I spent all 3 days there.
I negotiated the price down to 1000 liras per night on my credit card. He insisted cash but I declined because Turkey banks use an extremely unfair exchange rate when withdrawing money while claiming no fees. Even if you decline conversion the banks they still rip you off.
Laundry cost 400 liras total to...
Read moreDue to a problem with our reservation, we were not able to stay at the hostel, but they were happy to direct us to a nearby affiliated hotel. Please note that our evaluation of the hostel is slightly different from that of the hostel. The hotels have cute dogs and cats to welcome you. Everywhere is cutely made and because of the off-season, the chef was repairing the pool. It was clear that all the employees enjoy their work and are very attached to the facilities. On the terrace, you can spend a luxurious tea time looking at the beautiful scenery of the countryside while smelling the smell of wood...
