Stayed two nights for a weekend break. ||||Pros: ||- Location: Right across street from opera house. Easy walk to market square, Old Town. Easy spot to get a taxi (I used bolt).||- Breakfast was included in my room. With COVID precautions like many places you put in your choice ahead of time, and they bring it to you. So no buffet or a la carte. Three choices I think, which were tasty, and had fill-your-own coffee and water/juice.||- Dining room: Breakfast was served there, also a restaurant you could eat for lunch/dinner (I did not). But this hotel/restaurant is called panorama for a reason, wonderful view of the opera house and square. ||- Room was decent sized for a single. Free bottle of water (not to be confused with the minibar), which was replaced daily. ||- Well located power outlets, especially the one next to bed. Since most places have done away with clocks, this is key. ||- Cute, quirky decorations.||- Wifi worked fine.||||Cons: ||- Acknowleding that it was winter, but my room was cold. Like 16 degrees (C) cold. As with many places, when you took the key out of the power slot, power turned off, including the in room HVAC. But even with the (separate, water heat) radiator cranked on high, it would get cold during the day and then the electric in-room system never got above 20 degrees even after a full night on. Maybe this was just due to the location on the room, sort of off the main hallway, but be warned. The bathroom was extra cold, and the towel heater didn't make up for that. ||- A (pay as you go) mini bar, but no in room coffee, tea, etc.||- Shower leaked if the spray hit anywhere but the floor. Which meant having to lower the showerhead a lot given the angle. ||||All in all, I would certainly consider staying there again, but would try to get a room in the...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at the Panorama Hotel Lviv restaurant and was blown away by their delicious steak! The entire experience left me with a great impression, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Lviv.
Firstly, the ambiance was fantastic. The restaurant's location on the top floor of the Panorama Hotel offered breathtaking views of the city. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant setting to enjoy my meal. The interior was tastefully decorated, creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the steak! I ordered a medium-rare ribeye, and it was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. It was evident that they used high-quality cuts of meat, and the seasoning was spot-on. Each bite was a delight, and I savored every moment.
The service was also top-notch. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure I had everything I needed throughout the meal. My server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered some excellent recommendations.
I should also mention that the restaurant had an impressive wine selection. I paired my steak with a glass of red wine recommended by the sommelier, and it complemented the meal wonderfully.
While the steak stole the spotlight, the side dishes were equally delicious. The potatoes and grilled vegetables added a delightful touch of freshness to the meal.
In conclusion, my visit to the Panorama Hotel Lviv restaurant was a memorable one, all thanks to the mouthwatering steak and the exceptional service. If you're a steak enthusiast like me and appreciate a lovely setting with excellent service, this restaurant is a must-visit when in Lviv. I'll definitely be returning on my next trip to this...
Read moreI booked a 3-night stay for a mother-daughter trip, and Panorama team did not disappoint. The staff is super professional and friendly - we got a complimentary early check-in and the staff was available 24 /7 for requests regarding taxi, additional toiletries, room service etc. ||Our room on floor 4 looked very modern (it looks like the hotel was recently renovated) and are spacious and functional. The location is one of the best in town in my view - right next to the Opera theatre (I could even hear rehearsals in the Opera when my window was open).||I do recommend to visit their rooftop restaurant (either for breakfast or for lunch / dinner) - the view to the central square with a fountain next to the Opera is breathtaking, and the service is top-notch. From the menu, my recommendation is beef medallions with mashed potatoe - delicious! ||One point to improve is the invoicing / billing - you do need to request the invoice in advance if you need one; and you also do not get the usual breakdown of all the additional charges (for example, the breakdown of the restaurant meals / drinks), as you would normally get in other hotels - so, in case you would like this, better to also request this upfront.||Also the hotel website does not always provide the best availabilities and pricing - I booked through Zenhotels platform, and got a much better rate than that on the official hotel website.||Overall, our experience was absolutely amazing - we will be staying here again when we are back in...
