We (two couples) stayed at British Club Lviv for 5 nights in September 2017. We stayed in a two bedroom suite which had two large bedrooms with a double and two singles, a kitchen, a living room with tv and two bathrooms - only one with a toilet (the other had a bathtub and sink).||||The hotel has a good location a five minute walk from the Opera on a quieter street just outside the old part of the city. The rooms are nice and large with high ceilings and "heritage" furniture. Atmosphere is nice. The amenities are a bit basic and the plumbing is a bit of a problem (hot water seemed to come in spurts while you shower) but overall it is a nice place. The wifi is good and they include a breakfast which is a bit limited but includes hot selections. Staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful.||||The only significant drawback is the hotel is not good for people with mobility issues. Our rooms were on the fourth floor and it was quite a climb given the high ceilings - there is no elevator. Other than this issue it is a nice place to stay if you are looking for something other than generic...
Read moreI booked the least expensive room at this apartment hotel and the cheapest room is better than some really expensive hotels that I have stayed at. This is an old property that has been beautifully restored and the rooms are high quality, with beautiful furniture. The hotel rooms have good wi-fi and small carts with tea, coffee and electric tea pots. Bed linens and towels are very high quality, maid service was excellent. I really only found three small things to fault this hotel for, first, as this is an old building, there is no elevator, so if you are on one of the upper floors this could be a problem for some people, second, there is no handicap accessibility at this hotel, so if you are disabled you should book at a different hotel and lastly, only some staff have English capabilities, so if you don't speak Ukrainian or Russian you may have some difficulty communicating...
Read moreVery hospitable staff, Very British antique style furnichur, quite central to the centre of Lviv, certainly walking distance, I found the city very safe to walk round, a nice small supermarket 2 doors down, not too much breakfast choice. but when I stayed first night I was the only one and second night 2 other people were staying, down side is there is no lift and can be a hike up stairs to room, I was on 4th floor and at 67yrs with luggage felt uneasy coming back to room with all those stairs to face, lower room and all would be well but upper rooms for the young and fit only. Union jacks everywhere in the hotel makes you feel wanted (if you are a UK passport holder that is,,and I am) also many Union flags on display in the city in shops ect, all in all...
