We were searching for good fish n prawn options & we found this place. We went there & the staff welcomed us warmly. As u get seated you will see QR code available on each table, scan it & there you go, your contact less beautiful menu is opened. This place serves you best quality seafood. Due to covid situation their fresh seafood display counter was closed but they have fresh stock inside. If u ask them, they will show you what ever you choose from menu. They serve seafood according to weight with your choice of marinade. The staff can also help n guide you in ordering if needed. Our pick was↓

• FINGER FISH→crumbed fried finger fish perfectly crisp from outside, soft n delicious from inside. • SHERRY FISH FRIED→ simple yet not over fried at all was still juicy from inside. Fish was fresh & meat was super tasty. • PRAWN→ it was half&half platter. Lemon garlic was simply cooked in lemon garlic marinade & Red masala was their own spice marinade. I personally like Masala as it was spicy & other was lightly flavored but both were finger licking good. • VEG FRIED RICE→ cruchy veggies tossed in rice without chinese salt(msg) which i like the most.

The food was super delicious as meat was fresh. Seafood is kept in ice & salt as they cook it fresh so Nothing was over salty which i always like the most.The place is simple with no fancy interior. Coral green walls painted fishing images gives soothing appearance. Their indoor dinning hall have enough space. They also have few bench style seats outside as well with greenry around them. As this area is not much crowded in night time so its so pleasing to dine there. The staff is very kind & helping.

Fresh fish, fresh fish, fresh fish. Say that 3 times fast!
Fish Hut which opened in early 2015 is a seafood restaurant and concept based in Oud Metha, near Lamcy Plaza.
Upon entering the bright green walls and woven orange light shades give an immediate feel of a fun and fresh place to dine. The staff are super friendly and make us feel welcome.
After being seated we were handed a menu which is quite simple but it's when the manager calls us over to the fish counter to actually choose our fish is when it gets exciting. With a range of fresh fish, prawns, squid, crabs and lobster to choose from which is all freshly caught from the Arabian Sea.
They have scales so you can choose the weight and they can recommend a good size per kilo depending on how many guests are dining. We opted for a hammour with some prawns and squid as a starter.
Soon after sitting we are presented with a complimentary seafood soup with prawns & squid, a welcome appetizer with a great taste.
Then the starters of butterfly prawns & a huge plate of fried calamari arrived.
The prawns were pan fried in a garlic sauce and were so yummy.
The calamari had a nice crunchy batter and served with lemon wedges and a dipping sauce.
We also had some chopati and paratha made fresh in house and served with a curry sauce. Unique and different to the usual chips option.
Then for the main event, our Hamour fish fillet with was served butterfly with two flavors, a mustard sauce and the famous lemon & thyme which had been char grilled adding even more flavor. The fish itself was soft and delicate with minimal bones. You can definitely taste the freshness of all the seafood and personally I think it's a great concept. If you are looking for affordable, delicious restaurant to have good fish, please visit this gem is located in a silent area , near Lamcy Plaza , in Oud Metha .This was our first try at Fish Hut . Marrie , our waitress was quite attentive and smart . We started our experience with Grilled Sherry and Deep Fried Kofer .the side sauce was fantastic . They offer several varieties of flavors with wide range of fishes . And the best thing is the price is very very reasonable compared with other sea food restaurants in dubai area. We will again visit here. I really wish the team all the best and hope they continue to serve the food as delicious as it is now.
