A Taste of Pakistan in Dubai: Gul khan Review
Located in the vibrant culinary scene of Dubai, Gul khan offers a delightful journey into the flavors of Pakistan that will satisfy even the most discerning palates. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of savoring their renowned Mutton Kadhai and Chapli Kabab, alongside their delectable Rabri dessert.
The Mutton Kadhai was a standout dish, featuring tender chunks of mutton cooked to perfection in a rich, aromatic gravy infused with traditional Pakistani spices. Each bite was a testament to the chef's mastery, delivering a harmonious blend of flavors that left a lasting impression.
Equally impressive were the Chapli Kababs – perfectly grilled patties packed with spices and herbs, boasting a smoky flavor that complemented their juicy interior. These kababs showcased gul khan's commitment to authenticity and quality.
To complete the culinary experience, I indulged in their Rabri dessert, which was a creamy delight with just the right amount of sweetness. It provided a perfect ending to the meal, leaving a lingering taste of satisfaction.
Beyond the food, Gul khan offers a welcoming atmosphere adorned with elegant Pakistani décor, creating a cozy yet refined dining environment. The attentive service added to the overall positive experience, with staff knowledgeable about the menu and eager to ensure a memorable visit. Great service by Gulbaz.
In summary, Gul khan in Dubai stands out as a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Pakistani cuisine. Whether you're a fan of robust curries, flavorful kababs, or decadent desserts, Gul khan promises a culinary adventure that transports you to the heart of Pakistan without...
Read moreI was extremely disappointed to eat there. Never ever going back there again. I even asked the waiter if the chef was from peshawar because they were promoting cuisines from Peshawar, i don't know what they served me as chapli kebab, the taste was not even closed to chapli kebab. I asked the manager, where is he from, he mentioned he was not from Peshawar, so, if you're from karachi or lahore, maybe you'd accept that thing as chapli kebab, but as per my experience and i am from Peshawar, the taste isn't even closed to chapli kebab, it was cooked at extremely high temperature, it was kind of burnt,i recommended the manager to visit 2 restaurants within dubai if he wants to have somewhat closer taste of chapli kebab, how actual chapli kebab tastes in Peshawar, not lahore or karachi. So the biryani we ordered, it seemed it was reheated in microwave, you can see the image i uploaded. Also check for the prices of biryani you order and the bill you receive, The salad they offered, that was disappointment, even those cafeterias on the roads have better servings of salad. I felt the prices are bit higher as compare to other famous chain of restaurants in dubai. I mean really the good ones. I asked if they had the big bottle of water, they said they have only small ones and even they charged 2aed for that, i mean come on, even big and fancy restaurants on that road charge 1 aed for the same bottle of water, and they charged 2 aed for small bottle of water. It needs alot of improvement in terms of taste and maybe they would need to consider about...
Read moreGul Khan Restaurant presents a culinary journey with highs and lows. The Chapli Kabab and Green Handi were undoubtedly the stars of the show, tantalizing our taste buds with their flavorful delights. The succulent Nalli in the Chapli Kabab and the rich aroma of the Green Handi added layers of satisfaction to our dining experience.
However, the Chicken Charsi and Mutton Matka failed to reach the same level of culinary excellence. While they were palatable, they lacked the wow factor that we had anticipated.
Unfortunately, the service aspect of our visit left much to be desired. Despite being greeted by a bustling weekend crowd, the staff seemed unprepared to handle the influx of diners. Long waits and repeated requests for basic condiments and additional servings detracted from our overall enjoyment.
The ambience, though initially promising, was overshadowed by an unfortunate leakage from the AC unit. While it didn't ruin our meal entirely, it certainly dampened the mood and raised concerns about the restaurant's maintenance standards.
In summary, Gul Khan Restaurant offers a mixed bag of experiences. While the food, particularly the Chapli Kabab and Green Handi, delighted our taste buds, the subpar service and maintenance issues detracted from the overall enjoyment. With improvements in these areas, Gul Khan could truly shine as a culinary gem in the...
