Des Pardes - A Gem in Oud Metha for Authentic Pakistani Cuisine My recent dining experience at Des Pardes in Karama was nothing short of exceptional. This restaurant truly brings the authentic flavors of Pakistan to Dubai with its delectable dishes and impeccable service. Ambiance and Service: The ambiance at Des Pardes is warm and inviting, perfect for a family dinner or a casual meal with friends. The highlight of our visit was the outstanding service provided by Mr. Moeed, who was incredibly polite, attentive, and served us with a genuine smile. The service was prompt, and we felt well taken care of throughout our meal. The Feast: We indulged in a variety of dishes, each one more delicious than the last. Here's a detailed rundown of our culinary journey: Green Salad & Raita: The perfect starters, fresh and refreshing. Mix Grill Platter: A flavorful assortment of grilled meats that were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Chicken Handi: This dish was yummilicious, with juicy chunks of chicken in a rich, aromatic gravy. Mutton: The gravy was thick and flavorful, complementing the tender mutton perfectly. Daal: Comfort food at its finest, with a rich, hearty texture. Roti: Classic and soft, ideal for mopping up the delicious gravies. Garlic Naan: The best we've tasted to date, with just the right amount of garlic and butter. Butter Naan: Perfectly buttery and soft, a real treat. Tandoori Paratha: Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, a delightful bread option. Sweet Lassi: So creamy and refreshing, a perfect accompaniment to the spicy dishes. Pakola: A nostalgic drink from Pakistan, adding an authentic touch to our meal. Kheer: Sweet, creamy, and satisfying. Karachi Rabdi: Rich and decadent, a must-try dessert. Tea: Refreshing and the perfect end to our meal. Overall, Des Pardes exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was scrumptious, the service was top-notch, and the overall experience was delightful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Pakistani cuisine in Dubai. We will definitely be back for more!

I always love visiting desi restaurants as they represent the true essence of Pakistani Culture by their food. This time I visited another Pakistani restaurant, DES PARDES. Des means country and Pardes means foreign country. It is a popular phrase in the subcontinent comparing the local and foreign things. The concept of Des Pardes Restaurant is to serve the best quality local authentic Pakistani food in a foreign country and they have excelled it in the best possible way. I was served some lipsmacking food and it literally made me miss Pakistan so much. The best part is that they are open 24 hours. Here's what I had for the Main Course: 🔸️Chicken Biryani 🔸️Mutton Karhai 🔸️Chicken Handi 🔸️Mix Grill 🔸️Tarka Daal 🔸️Mix Sabzi 🔸️Roghni Naan, Tandoori Roti 🔸️Tandoori Naan Desserts and Drinks I had : 🔸️Gajar Ka Halwa 🔸️Rabree in a Claypot 🔸️Gulab Jamun 🔸️Meethi Lassi Every dish had great taste and I can pick one specific dish to praise. The Main Course had perfect spices. The Biryani had a amazing flavours while the Handi and Karhai were perfectly spiced. The Daal and Sabzi reminded me of how my grandmother used to cook it in Pakistan. The Grills were juicy and very tasty. The variety of grills were chicken seeking kebab, mutton seekh kebab, malai boti, tikka boti, fish tikka and Bihari boti. Though everything was good, the fish tikka was fantastic. The Naans and breads were super soft and tasty. I loved their Roghni naans. THESE ARE A MUST TRY. They are very similar to the taste of Sheermal. Loved it so much. The desserts had a perfect traditional taste. The Rabree had the same taste that I used to have in Karachi. The Gulab Jamuns were soft and delicious. The Gajar ka halwa had khoya (mawa) and chopped nuts, just the way any desi would love to eat. Not to forget the meethi Lassi topped with nuts. ONE OF THE BEST PLACES TO HAVE AUTHENTIC DESI FOOD. Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ @des_pardes_dubai

Follow me on Instagram (Lizbethology)... When seen from the roadside, this restaurant seems quite small and looks like a place buzzing with only bachelors. The situation was pretty similar when I, with my family, stepped in for dinner on a Thursday evening. But by around 8:30pm, families started to arrive too. Guess we were too early 😊 We started off with a Mix Grill Platter consisting of Malai Boti, Chicken Boti, Fish Tikka Boti, Mutton Seekh Kebab and Chicken Seekh Kebab. The kebabs were a little spicy, though in a good way, and the fish boti was simply melt-in-the-mouth. For mains, we ordered Chicken Tandoori Kadai, Mutton Handi and Dal Mix with Butter Naan and Tandoori roti. Each curry was different from the other and was appreciated by each one of us. Dal mix is prepared using three varieties of dal and I loved it. The slight sweetness of the butter naan blended well with the spiciness of the curries. Pakistani curries tend to be slightly spicier and have more oil than what we have in India, but it’s not overly spicy and we actually enjoyed it a lot. We also tried their Chicken Biriyani. Tender chicken pieces and the flavourful rice was tasty. To end this amazing meal, we tried some of their desserts that are all prepared in-house, Gulab Janum, Soan Papdi and Kheer. The winners for me were gulab jamun and soan papdi. The jamuns come in pairs without any syrup but they just melt in the mouth. The soan papdis were soft and delicious too. Kheer was just average. Overall, a must-try place for authentic Pakistani food and sweets. They do home delivery too 😊

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Des Pardes – A Hidden Gem That Feels Just Like Home

If you're craving authentic Indo-Pakistani food without all the glitz and glamour, Des Pardes Restaurant is the place to be. This is not your typical fancy, overhyped spot with big décor and small portions – instead, it gives you the real, raw, heartwarming experience of a local street-side restaurant back home – and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it so special.

The food here is absolutely to die for. Every dish is packed with bold, traditional flavours – just the way it’s supposed to be. From the spices to the aromas to the generous portions, it’s clear that the chefs know exactly what they’re doing. Each bite takes you straight back to those home-style meals we grew up loving.

The prices are shockingly affordable – truly pocket-friendly, especially for Dubai standards. It’s rare to find food this good at such low prices, making it the perfect place for regular visits without worrying about your wallet.

But what really sets Des Pardes apart is the staff. These are some of the most hardworking and efficient people I’ve seen in any restaurant. They are fast like machines – they remember every order, deliver food to your table in minutes, and still manage to stay humble, respectful, and warm. It’s service that genuinely makes you feel like family. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is inspiring – truly living up to the name “Des Pardes.”

From the simple ambience to the aroma of desi spices in the air, everything about this place brings nostalgic comfort. It feels like being transported to a tiny eatery in Lahore, Karachi, Delhi, or Amritsar – where the food speaks louder than décor, and smiles are served with every plate.

Hats off to the entire Des Pardes team. You’ve created more than just a restaurant – you’ve built an experience that connects people to their roots.

Highly, highly recommended to anyone looking for comfort food, lightning-fast service, and unbeatable value. You’ll come here once, and you’ll keep coming back again and again.

Ps. Don't forget to order the Aaloo paratha....
