I’ve always been fascinated by the aesthetics of the rooms based on photos I found online so when I found the opportunity to book a New Year’s stay, I took it.
Booking through the Hilton app was a breeze. However, following up with the team by phone on Christmas Day was not. The lady on the central reservation hotline first told me that they do NOT have a Christmas party package. Then she told me that they have a Christmas Gala Dinner after I asked for anything. Then she gave me conflicting timings before telling me that there was also a club package. It was pretty unusual for a brand of worldwide renowned to have customer service like that. A few hours after that incident, I called their hotline again but no one was picking up the phone. That dragged on for several hours. I chatted with an agent on their app but he gave me wrong details as well. The Hilton central reservations hotline was also unable to give me anything. If it were not for the fact that I already booked a room, I would have given up and chose another property. I actually sent an email to addresses provided by the central reservations hotline, along with a note of concern. A Duty Manager called me up a day later regarding my concerns. I appreciated that.
December 31st came. We arrived at Al Seef around 12:30pm, expecting a long wait, but we were thankful to have early check-in extended to us.
The hotel itself has a very eclectic decor, similar to many new brands such as Rove, 25H and Aloft, but I like the quirkiness of their design a bit more.
The property has 5 floors, with basement parking (no valet, no concierge). I wish the front desk was designed a little better because it looked like a refreshment counter, with apples and a microwave oven beside it.
We were assigned room 232, which is on the second floor. The room was quiet and not connecting (as requested) and faced away from the Creek. It was a tiny room, with a King Bed, a corner single sofa, two side tables, a good sized TV (not smart, though), a table attached to the wall, an open wardrobe, a tea area with a kettle and a mini SMEG fridge (no coffee machine). It had one HUGE window that I appreciated since it made the room look less compact.
The bathroom continued its quirky theme, with pipes as shower door handles, and stereo knobs as towel pegs. Water pressure was strong. I love the quality of the soaps and shampoo. The turn-down chocolate was also delicious.
The bed and pillows were just the right firmness. However, they should look into the state of the bed frame. The one inside our room had metal pieces glued and nailed on the corners but one of them was loose and jutted out. I nearly got injured from the exposed metal.
There is a small but adequate gym and a tiny pool on the fifth floor. I didn’t get to use any since there was a branch of my gym a few minutes walk away at Burjuman Mall.
Around the hotel are various embassies and consulates so this would be a great location for those with appointments there.
Breakfast was nice and not too overwhelming. I love the make your own waffle station.
Checkout was a breeze, with a friendlier staff this time.
Overall, my stay was much better than my initial contact with their team. I think customer service training and better scripting/information for team members handling phone calls is sorely needed, for example, this was the only time I’ve had people from the hospitality industry have a habit of answering calls via speaker (or maybe their headsets were not working) so it was quite a struggle to hear and be heard. Also a bit of TLC on the rooms...
Read moreA fantastic interior with magnificent decor and perfectly made up rooms at Zabeel Mini house Alseef. Right from point of check in to checkout we were taken care of! True definition of anticipating guest needs and wow factor provided to us ! Just a prior notice was all it took for me to have the most splendid stay here.
It was a special occasion and my partners birthday - a beautifully decorated upgraded room for us with a lovely cake and a Polaroid picture of both us made his day! A customized hand written letter was a delight! - all these speak volumes of how keen the management is about details which enhanced our stay
Check in : a very warm welcome given to us by Ms. Christina and Mr. Vishal - very very professional approach towards their guests and always readily enthusiastic to educate you with their special promotions and discounts ! Great assets to the property!
Room : Extremely Clean , very spacious , all basic amenities available in room, rest all on request - and trust me they are quick. Clean linen Perfect lightings Minbar Television with every channel you would want (except for Few MBC channels - for obvious reasons it being taken over by Etisalat, hence no complains on that ) Complimentary Tea coffee and water amenities perfect for two !
Pool and Recreational facilities like Sauna and Steam! - A temperature controlled pool with life guard all the time to dip in and also a very generous amount of sunlight coming in for those who want to sun bathe here !
Location : located in heart of Al Seef - extremely convenient for travelers and also the area is accessible to most nearby destinations like Dubai Frame , local cuisines restaurants etc!
Cleaning : Very clean lobby Very very clean rooms and bathrooms Special note: one of very few properties having the most clean corridors on floors - not even a speck of dust anywhere! A very pleasant air freshener at all times in all public areas.
We didn’t really get a chance to eat any meals here due to our short stay, however that gives us an opportunity to visit here again I would say ;)
Value of money and Pricing : great value for money : very very reasonable priced for the services and facilities they offer !
Service and Staff attitude : Ms Sofie from operators with such a soothing approach to always reach you immediately on call and ensure that the request is completed. Ms. Jyoti - always smiling , was so kind enough to bring a birthday cake and ofcourse thanks to chef for the lovely red velvet cheese cAke ! Mr. Mokhtar on the reception desk even handed us a small bon voyage gift as a remembrance of our stay here ! Such a kind gesture to show value to guests ! And finally - Mohammad Gamal with the best and perfect concierge experience who was so kind enough to take out time for us and show us around the property and sister properties at Alseef
All this speaks so much about how the guests are made to feel special and at home !Thankyou so much to all of you and rest of the staff too who were indirectly responsible in making our stay memorable

Read moreOh Hampton! You served me well during my trip! Hampton Al Seef will always be my first choice of hotel when i visit Dubai. This place is amazing, the modern and vibrant style is what makes this place lively.
First of all, the entire staff over there are all well trained, polite, and very friendly. Special thanks to Gibril at the reception!
Here goes my list of likes and dislikes:
Likes:
The map on the ceiling is a FANTASTIC IDEA
Fridge has an unusual cool look to it and also cools your food/drink quite well
Faint lighting above the shower in the bathroom gives a very cozy and relaxing feeling, you wouldn’t expect such a detail from a 3 star hotel
The rooms have a work desk where you can study/work and has wall plugs just above the desk and i think below as well.
The lighting layout of the room is fantastic, it might be hard to get a grasp of at first but you’ll get used to it.
The corridors are very stylish as well and are very well designed
The use of a wide variety of vibrant colors present in the reception makes it very much attractive for anyone to just go and relax there
A large number of different couches/seats and seating areas, you will find all sorts of comfort for your uhm uhm
The outside design is also very very attractive and would catch the attention of any passer by to just wonder what on Earth is that place.
The food (breakfast) is quite good (an open buffet), you’re offered with a wide selection of different food stuff that you could plug your morning hunger with.
Al Seef Promenade is a very nice place to have a walk in any time of the day (closes at 11 pm though), the problem with that promenade is that all the restaurants you can find their are quite expensive.
A nearby “Life” pharmacy where i believe you could find anything you’d ever need to get from a pharmacy (quite a big drugstore)
I will try to list everything i can remember:
Chicken sausages Grilled vegetables Boiled Eggs Cereals (2 types) Toast Cinnamon rolls Cakes Donuts (i think?) Pastries Waffles (available syrup: honey, maple, chocolate) Juices (Pineapple, orange, apple, cranberry) Scrambled Eggs Coffee
Dislikes:
The 10-15 minute walk to Burjuman is exhausting, you probably wouldn’t have any more energy to do any more walking after you reach Burjuman mall. I wish Careem Bike would set up a station near Hampton to make it easier for the hotel occupants to reach Burjuman (there is a Careem bike station near Burjuman where you could rent or park bikes).
The Mish Mash restaurant where you get your open buffet breakfast has an annoying number of flying insects that are too nosey and won’t let you eat in peace. Problem is they also have their fair share of fun laying around on the food in the buffet before it is served to you. (Sorry management, but this needs to be addressed somehow).
Overall, The enjoyment i had in this place is indescribable, i had so much fun, comfort and a great stay because if Hampton and everyone who works there. I hope to return in the future.
Hampton Al Seef, you...
