This is Jane Abou Jaoude , a well-known blogger and influencer in Dubai. I was awarded as the best influencer in Dubai, and I am licensed by the Dubai Economic and Tourism Authority, I am writing this complaint to express my extreme disappointment with the service and behavior I experienced during my recent visit to Nazca on New Year’s Eve. has now become a source of frustration and embarrassment due to the conduct of your staff, particularly Ahmad (Egyptian), certain security members, and the manager on duty. Incident Summary:
Booking Confusion:
• We called Nazca and were informed about a lounge booking for AED 14,000. A staff member escorted us to the venue, where we accidentally interacted with my business partners who were seated in another section, which we later realized was part of another restaurant. After clarifying that we still wanted to book at Nazca, the same staff member returned with an entirely different and unprofessional attitude. He was rude, aggressive, and demanded immediate payment in an inappropriate tone.
Unacceptable Behavior by Staff and Management:
• Ahmad, the Egyptian staff member, began shouting at us in front of my business partners, stating, “You cannot afford, Yalla, leave now.” This behavior was humiliating and completely uncalled for.
• The manager arrived but only worsened the situation by addressing us disrespectfully. He made comments like, “We don’t welcome people like you in Nazca,” and proceeded to call security to forcibly remove us. The manner in which he spoke—using phrases like “Yalla, Yalla”—was shockingly unprofessional and degrading. And he asked them to kik us out in front of all the guest .
Impact on Relationships and Reputation:
• I was deeply embarrassed in front of my business partners and a client who had initially chosen another restaurant, Amelia, but joined us at my request. Following this incident, they were appalled by the treatment and decided not to proceed with their plans at Nazca, expressing regret over trusting my recommendation.
Comparison to Other Establishments:
• As someone who frequently collaborates with prominent venues in Dubai, including well-known establishments such as Burak and Koi, Atlantis and Emaar, I can confidently say that I have never encountered such treatment, even at the most luxurious or modest venues. They maintain respect for every guest, regardless of their status or background, which is a standard your team...
Read moreEditing this review after feedback was provided from the store manager (Karan) and we visited the restaurant again.
Karan personally called and apologized and offered to re-visit for a better experience. We went once again by surprise again to give it one more shot without informing the day we are going to avoid special treatment, and the restaurant this time exceeded our expectations. The below happened on a special occasion were they over booked tables for Valentine’s Day for people and there were time slots, the majority of the 7pm slots came one hour late, which messed up most people’s tables that had a reservation at 9pm.
They will work on managing special occasions better such as Valentines Day to avoid this happening with anyone. Original Post: I came to visit during Valentine’s Day.. I opted for first line table to ensure best view of Burj khalifa and was charged upfront the 2000 dirham deposit.
When I got there, the table assigned to me was in the corner with no view of Burj Khalifa for one person, and the other person got some view but wasn’t as expected. Empty tables were available however the host claimed it was booked for someone else. I don’t understand how specific tables can be booked when we all paid the same amount for first line table.
Second, the waiter messed up our order and forgot few dishes we ordered. He didn’t even use an iPad or a notepad to take our order.
Thirdly, the food took 2.5 hours for all of it to arrive.
Fourth, half the food that came late already, was already cold. Weird given it took that long to come.
Lastly, the a lot of the food did not taste as good as expected. Some major dishes require salt and I still don’t understand how salmon teriyaki dish comes with no teriyaki :)
Will probably not ever visit again or recommend as this was a very disappointing experience.
We visit many restaurants and the service needs to heavily be focused on (especially for the waiters working outside). When we asked to move to a table inside, the two waiters were a lot more assertive and they should be the ones managing the outdoor area especially when the place...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Nazcaa Dubai, and it was an unforgettable experience. Located on the 12th floor of the Address Dubai Mall Hotel, the restaurant offers stunning views of the Burj Khalifa and downtown Dubai, creating a captivating ambiance that perfectly complements its exquisite Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine.
The menu is a delightful blend of Peruvian and Japanese flavors, known as Nikkei cuisine. Each dish is made with high-quality ingredients, offering a unique and satisfying dining experience. The cocktails are equally impressive, well-balanced, and not overly sweet, enhancing the overall meal.
The service at Nazcaa is exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well-cared for. I would like to extend special thanks to Sumit and Jazur, whose outstanding service made my evening truly special.
The restaurant's elegant interiors and stunning terrace provide an inviting and sophisticated ambiance, making it an ideal spot for both romantic evenings and casual nights out with friends. Whether you're planning a special occasion or simply looking to enjoy a unique dining experience, Nazcaa is a must-visit destination in Dubai.
I highly recommend Nazcaa to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience that combines exceptional cuisine, breathtaking views, and...
