DISAPPOINTING!!! Worst stay at Accor Hotel ever. One of the best hotel in Dubai but unfortunately, worst front desk staff was ABHINAV AJITH (Staff Number - 1259). Very disappointing level of communication and attitude towards hotel guest which will worsen the rating of hotel itself. ABHINAV AJITH enter in to argument for very tiny matters. I think he take things personally instead, he should have been much polite considering reputation and credibility of ACCOR Hotels. MESS 1: The mess started when I wanted to checkout. I informed ABHINAV AJITH well in advance. He was so rude that he didn’t even bother to respond. After about an hour I have had follow up again to make sure my luggage is picked up, there is no response at all from him. Finally, I came at reception where I was talking to Ms. Cheistine. ABHINAV came in by my side and was staring at me as if he will bang me. I couldn’t resist any more. When I told him why is he doing so, he came so close that we would have been physical now. Ms. Christine has to pull him back to close this confrontation. (PLEASE REFER CAMERA FOOTAGE IN FRONT OF RECEPRION AREA IBIS MALL AVENUE HOTEL, DUBAI. ON 26 JULY, 2024, FRIDAY, TIME: Between 11:00 AM - 14:00 PM) MESS 2: I had lot of shopping which I wanted to ship via cargo. Unfortunately, in a rush the cargo guy left his ID at his office. So, he was not allowed to visit my room. (That’s fine). I requested ABHINAV for a Baggage Porter as I couldn’t do it myself I was so late to catch flight my request was ignored and he started lying and he said I have to get down baggage and all stuff myself which was such a rude and unprofessional response by a front desk staff. Whereas he should have tried to help me out or try to find a solution to make my life easy. I HAD TO GET MY STUFF MYSELF. I almost missed my flight. (PLEASE REFER CAMERA FOOTAGE NEAR ROOM NO: 466 LOBBY IBIS MALL AVENUE HOTEL, DUBAI. ON 26 JULY, 2024, FRIDAY, TIME: Between 11:00 - 14:00) MY VIEW: ABHINAV not showing any keen interest while dealing with hotel guest as per hotel guidelines, LACK OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS. I met Mr. Ritesh Mehta such a professional guy. He is asset for Accor Hospitality. Thanks to Ms. Christine too appreciate your help. I would like to know what kind of action was take with such a disrespectful staff. NOTE: REFER CAMERA FOOTAGE: 1. PLEASE REFER CAMERA FOOTAGE IN FRONT OF RECEPTION AREA IBIS MALL AVENUE HOTEL, DUBAI. Hotel Feedback – Ibis Al Barsha (Avenue Mall) I recently checked in and stayed at your hotel, and I would like to provide my honest feedback regarding my experience. Unfortunately, I left feeling quite disappointed. The hotel lacked essential amenities that are usually expected for the same price range or even from lower-cost hotels with better service. There were no complimentary toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, or basic hygiene kits — items usually available even in standard hotel setups. No sleepwear was provided, and the overall completeness of the room felt lacking. One of the major concerns I encountered was the poor service response. I called the reception several times for assistance — requesting bottled water and other basic needs — but no one responded. The same happened when trying to reach housekeeping. It was frustrating to wait with no action or follow-up. Additionally, the air-conditioning was not functioning properly, making the room uncomfortable, especially in this climate. As someone who frequently checks into hotels, I value both comfort and service. I believe this experience has room for major improvement. Had my stay been pleasant, I could easily recommend your hotel to 5 to 10 of my friends who also travel and book regularly. That’s how word-of-mouth marketing works — especially in hospitality. I hope this feedback reaches your management team and helps improve future guest experiences.

Don't stay in this hotel if it rains. It literally drowned during the rain in Dubai their building needs water proofing. Also u hear everything in the corridor doors of their rooms need to be more sound proof. It was lethal & dangerous to get to my car during the rain the basement was totally flooded also their reception. Their electricity is shut totally their hotel is closed! Although this was a very amazing price effective hotel with good staff & service however the rain incident uncovered the poor quality of their building. Plus we were stuck in the hotel lobby due to their bad waterproofing their elevators were shut the basement drowned we couldn't retrieve our cars they weren't courteous enough to give us a free buffet they made us pay for the buffet lunch that we had to eat during the seige! That was a BIG DISAPOINTMENT! Their Egyptian receptionist was very cruel by calling me and threatening I would lose my things that got stuck in my room although I tried for 3 days to retrieve them & it wasn't possible also their lines were shut plus she didn't even answer later on the number she called me on. She was horrible!

Our stay at the Ibis was fine. This is our 130th hotel stay this year and among our least favorite experiences.First, it is very clean, so don’t worry about that. But a clean bed and room is all you can expect. Things we didn’t enjoy:-Breakfast is a chaotic cluster. No staff were seating guests. People were sprawled out across the Ibis and adjoining Novotel. It is difficult to find staff to clean off a table or provide new cutlery. The food is fine, but the coffee is horrible. - We were told the room included tea and coffee. When we checked in we notified the front desk we had no coffee and would like some. They told us someone would bring it, but it never arrived. The same thing happened the second day. The third day we asked cleaning staff if they have coffee. They told us they were out and only had decaf. They did provide decaf, but regular coffee should have been available. -The shower is extremely slippery. The shower drain is raised to prevent hair and product from clogging it. But that means people are standing in .5” of water the entire time they are showering. The smooth tiles are extremely slippery when covered in standing water. I’m a 36 year old agile, athletic person. I fell, hitting my knee and face on the tile. There are no grippy mats to reduce slipping. There are no handles to get up from in the shower.- After falling, I asked for a hand towel to wash my face. I was told “we don’t offer hand towels on THIS SIDE of the hotel. Only the Novotel side gets hand towels.” It’s very weird to make people feel lesser than others over hand towels. 🤷♀️Other small weird stuff:- There are ZERO outlets by the bed. You have to charge all electronics, including your phone, across the room. - The faucet barely hangs over the sink. When you wash your hands, they are against the side of the bowl, and water will run out on the counter. It’s like the designer never used the sink.- They have chosen a strange press soap bottle. It breaks off from the wall daily. -Aside from soap, no basic toiletries are provided. (no shampoo, conditioner, or lotion.)Overall, this place is cheaper than others, but it still costs too much to have this...
